It is completely safe for children and pets, as it does not contain any chemicals and does not emit an unpleasant odor. The device is made of durable materials and looks reliable. The trap really attracts and holds insects with the help of ultraviolet light and a fan. Works best in dark rooms. Easy to clean, does not require complex maintenance. You only need to change the adhesive plates, which takes a couple of seconds. Compact and lightweight, does not take up much space, can be moved to any room or even taken with you on a trip. It works without odor, without toxins, and most importantly - effectively. The price is completely justified. The design is sleek with touch buttons to adjust the fan speed and run time (always on, 3, 8, or 12 hours). The UV light is subtle and doesn’t bother me even at night. 🌙 However, I will note that on high fan speed it does have a slight sound. It’s super easy to use—just twist, drop in a sticky disc, and go! This is a great option for those with kids. 👍 It does also need to be plugged into an outlet so might be limited placement.

I was surprised that it didn't have a bad scent coming out into the house. I put it in my garage right before entering the house to keep flys out. It has already captured one fly. It was easy to set up and am very pleased with product. I would definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this next to my tortoise habitat because it tends to be a magnet for gnats and honestly it didn’t help much. I used it for 3 weeks 24/7 and counted about 20 gnats and 2 mosquitos on the sticky pad inside. I think the lights need to be brighter or the fan needs to be working faster for this to be more effective.

The size is a bit large and I wish you could run it without an outlet. Also the trap collects dirt along with the bugs so it doesn't last quite as long as I would like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super good bug catcher and really clean way to get rid of them. It’s so easy to put a sticky trap at the bottom of the machine and let those buggers get sucked in. I have this in my kitchen so we don’t have to worry about them anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing about this insect fan trap is that it takes just a minute or two to set up. All I had to do to start using it was to: separate the top and bottom halves of the device; remove the protective peel from one of the 5 included glue traps; and place a glue trap in the base of the unit. Then I simply plugged it in and turned it on using the power button on the lid. It did a nice job attracting mosquitos via the UV light in an overnight test, with the fan, apparently, 'helping' them into the trap. The fan has 2 speeds; I set it on high, as the fan was very quiet on either speed, so I figured high would work best. You can also set a timer so the device runs for 3, 8 or 12 hours at a time. After a glue trap has been used up, you just open the unit, take out the glue trap and put in a new one. Bottom line; it's an easy to use, no mess device that attracts and traps as advertised.
