[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a STEM Flying Insects Fan Trap to review. I have tried STEM products in the past and have always been impressed with their natural high tech approach. The product is safe for pets which is very important to me having just added a new puppy to the household. The fan attracts and traps mosquitos, flies and gnats. Uses scent and UV light to attract and kill the pests. It is attractive, quiet, effective and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been utilizing this trap for a month now and want to give my opinion on its functionality. The size and design is nice and compact. The lights are bright enough to get the bugs attention, must be dark in the room! The sound it makes could be slightly softer, see my video. The set up is super simple, just twist the top half off and put a sticky pad on the inside bottom. The cord is quit long and I appreciate that! I find it does not “suck in” bugs, like I thought. The fan just isn’t strong enough. The light does draw bugs in, but the fan doesn’t have power to suck the bugs down to the stuck pad. At least with gnats it doesn’t, I have even tried to wave them towards the machine. Maybe my kitchen isn’t dark enough?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great insects fan trap to put in any area of the room ,it has 6ft cord and quite adjustable fan speeds it comes with insecticide glue trap really effective and great value !! This is good if you have a lot of plants around the house it take all the flying insects !!highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can’t telll if this works any better than the little plug in light traps which I use and are more streamlined and don’t take up counter space. Still has to be plugged in. Fan makes sound that I do not like. Will use but not buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really easy setup that took a couple of seconds, and I love how small and lightweight it is. The fan that stays on to suck the bugs in isn’t annoying. I feel safe with it on near my pets. Only downside is that for the light to attract the bugs, you have to have all the other lights off. Overall it’s a perfect hassle-free and chemical-free way to get rid of bugs! I’m happy with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a bug catcher it’s a little large. It’s quiet does not make very much noise. This item really does not do what it is advertised for did not catch any flies or mosquitoes it only catches a few fruit flies and they were only attracted to it at night. I do not recommend this product. Also the sticky pad is hard to remove and can get stuck on hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came nicely packaged and is a well made device. It has a nice looking, smooth top with touch buttons to turn it on, select high or low fan, or adjust run time (always on, 3hr, 8hr, 12hr). In low fan mode, it's very quiet. On the high setting, I can hear it from across the room, but it's fan noise and not loud or distracting at all. If you have a hepa filter in the room, that will most likely be louder. As for operation, it's simple. The device twists apart and you drop one of the round glue discs of which 5 are included. Then, twist it back together and turn it on. Overall, it's the LED enhanced version of a tape fly trap. The LED's are a violet color and don't really bother you unless you look into the device; placing it above or below where you look is best. It's not to bright at night either, but does seem to attract the flying pests. We let it run for a few days and it did catch some annoying little flies and mosquitos that were around in the bathroom. Don't expect it to clear the room in an hour or two, it took a few days to really start collecting the pests. But, it does work as planned and we are very happy with the results. It also looks great - much better than the tape strips, and it will keep kids away from touching anything gross on those strips.

This is quiet, doesn't take up a lot of room, and does a great job at attracting pesky flies. You place a glue trap inside and the uv light will draw the flying insects to the unit. The fan will suck them in to the sticky plate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying out this insect fan trap I can say that it works pretty good. I like that it doesn’t have a loud noise while it runs. I can move it to any room and use it. After tying it in a few places I found that I like it best in my garage. It is also easy to change the stick pad it came with that gets the insects stuck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled to find a chemical free solution to bugs. It uses a light and has a glue trap. That is prefect for us since I don’t have to worry about my dog being around it. The light and the device itself is quite cool and modern looking. I appreciate that since I have it sitting out all the time. It has a charger cord so I don’t have to worry about putting in batteries. The device also works well in my camper so I’ve gotten one for there as well as I have bug issues. A lot of bugs can fit on the glue trap so it doesn’t need to be changed often. The device is very lightweight so I can move it easily from place to place if needed.
