He don’t really notice that it’s there. The fan draws in the bugs and the sticky part traps them in well. My one complaint is the refill system. To get my moneys worth out of the refill, I feel like I’ll have the dead bug sitting in there for longer than I desire. I wish there was a way the unit didn’t require refills. The overall cost of the unit isn’t worth it to me when you factor in the cost of refills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The STEM Flying Insects Fan Trap is a product that I was really hoping would work for me. I've had a problem with fruit flies in my kitchen, so I was hoping that I could plug this up by the sink and get rid of them all. The fan works okay, but not as well as I was hoping. Only a few of the little bugs have gotten stuck in the trap. I was hoping that almost all of them would have been attracted to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a huge fan trap! It was very easy to start using it right away. All you have to do is put the glue trap in the base, plug it in and turn it on. You can choose low or high for the fan, which makes no noise, then use the timer function if wanted. The best feature is the bugs end up at the base so you can't see them unless you open it!

I docked a star because it would’ve been better if this was a little smaller and rechargeable. Having to have it plugged in at all times limits the areas this can be used substantially.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a product to keep flying insects away then this is the product for you! I’ve had issues with fruit flies/gnats for a long time and have tried so many products and tricks to get rid of them. From the moment I opened the package I knew this STEM fan trap would be better than anything else I’ve tried. The UV light attracts the insects so I can really leave it in any space. Once the insect gets close it’s sort of sucked in and the bug stays trapped at the bottom. The sticky pad at the bottom is chemical free which I love! But it still works very efficiently. And it’s very easy to switch out, so I don’t have to touch anything I don’t want to. The trap has a timer so I can leave it running at night and don’t have to worry about it. It’s also very quiet so it’s not distracting in any way. I’m so glad I tried this device. It immediately started working and has relieved me of so much stress. I don’t have issues with the fruit flies like I used to and this STEM fan trap gets all the credit. I highly recommended using this product for flying insects. It will truly make your life so much easier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to set up and has minimal noise. I didn’t have any issues with switching out the glue traps. Its a small machine so its super portable and I’m was able to take it to different rooms conveniently. Worked really well and caught a good number of fruit flies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary for my honest review. We've had a catchy so I was excited to see how this held up. In just a few days, we've caught SO many little bugs! Love this thing. It's quiet, convenient and does the job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to see how this fan trap worked and I must say Im impressed. I love that its small and portable for easy storing and carrying. I placed the fan trap in my kitchen between the sink and my trash can and let it run for 3 hours. I caught what looked to be some fruit flies. It was really cool. Can’t wait to use it again after I’ve hosted an event at my house because people tend to go in and out of the house giving access to random flies every so often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i really like the Stem Flying insects fan trap! its lightweight and portable to you can bring it outside for those patio dinners or night talks with friends and family. It's a great on the go fly trap! plug it in and charge along the way. Two fan speeds allow you to control how fast or slow the fan moves. The inital purchase came with 5 sticky sheets so it will last a while before needing to purchase additional sheets. dont want to see the dead insects on the fly paper, no worry. The paper is inside the container so everything that gets caught will be hidden and continue to allow for a nice peaceful meal or conversation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome! My husband saw a mosquito and then we couldn’t find it - I set this up (so easy and user friendly) and selected the 12hr timer and went to bed. Next morning it had the mosquito and this annoying gnat I kept seeing stuck to the paper! So quiet with the fans on and the light isn’t crazy bright. Will be getting another one for the upstairs hallway :).
