I can adjust the settings so that I can hear the mower and my music or I can set them to block all noise. I also love that they tell me who text me. It's nice that Samsung integrated the buds settings into the main phone settings so I no longer need to use the wearables app. You will not be disappointed if you buy these.

When using noise canceling these new buds don't have the crackling noise in them like previous version. Extremely loud sounds don't interfere with these new ones. Ambient sound is good to. Can have a conversation with anyone without having to take them out and can be adjusted to how much noise you want coming in. The only weird thing that happens is if there is a loud ringing or similar sound it feels like the noise canceling kicks in and blocks it while using the ambient noise feature. Other than that great sound, good bass, and crisp notes and charge fairly quick. I can usually wear these for maybe 5 or 6 hours before my ears start getting sore.

They feel great in the ear and have a premium design to them. The touch controls are a little finnicky and the more advanced Bluetooth codec is only available on Samsung devices, which keeps these buds from being a 5 star device. At this price point I should be able to enjoy high end audio on any device.
