It cooks up easily and quickly - I like to use my rice cooker to eliminate having to use the stove. One of my favorite was to eat pearl couscous is with sautéed bell peppers and onions, turkey smoked sausage or kielbasa, and a drizzle of Greek vinaigrette dressing. My kids love that it's like little balls of noodle. I love the twist cap to keep the couscous fresh in the pantry. Always a nice base for a good meal at our house!

I had only ever had the tiny couscous, but this is so much better in my opinion. The pearls are larger and have a pasta like taste. If you like rice and pasta, but want to mix up your sides at dinner and feel a little fancy, this is the one for you. It also is great in cold salads with Mediterranean flavors like feta, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.. Highly recommend!

My 3 year old daughter loves couscous and this is no exception for her- she loves it too! I really appreciate that the only ingredient is wheat flour and that there are no goofy add ins. It's very easy to cook...just boil water, add salt and olive oil/butter if desired, and then cover and simmer. I even forgot to simmer it for the first two minutes and it still turned out great! It really holds the salty flavor in a good way if you do the recommended amount. We made a stir fry with the cous cous as a base. It holds together nicely but can be sticky after awhile. Making it with a sauce really helped negate the sticky issue. My picture looks funny because of shadowing...the cous cous is only white in appearance while cooking on the stovetop. The texture is exactly what you want- firm but pleasantly chewy, each bite very satisfying and tasty. It does absorb salt easily which makes it super easy to season. The pearls are great in size, which makes the dish substantial and elevated! It stores easily in the pantry without taking up too much space making it quick and easy to prepare for fast and easy meal preps. Overall it's a high quality product both in flavor and texture.

The couscous did not really have an aroma. I definitely used more than I should've because I forgot that couscous is basically a grain and it definitely acts like rice. The packaging is great. It is easy to scoop out for correct portion size. I will definitely have this couscous for a while since the package is very big and I don't really eat much. Overall, the couscous was amazing to add into dishes so that there is more volume.
