Outstanding device...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device has incredible sound, only limited by its form factor as a frame. Sound is rich and deep and definitely gives the impression of a larger, more powerful room filling speaker. I thoroughly enjoy listening to it. My only reason for the 4 star was the frame style form factor that limits it's potential but works well to disguise the speaker itself. Great idea, Samsung!!
Functional yet fashionable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Samsung Music Frame is a very unique soundbar/speaker. You get the ambiance of a beautiful picture frame that doubles as a powerful speaker that easily fills an entire room with amazing sound. Out of the box, it comes with the speaker/frame, a stand, hardware for hanging on the wall, and the power cable. The frame/speaker itself is extremely heavy. If you plan on hanging it on the wall, I would make sure you are hanging it on studs. For now, I am just using the stand. As soon as I plugged it in, a voice came on indicating it was ready to pair via Bluetooth or through the SmartThings app. It only took a couple of minutes to pair it with my SmartThings account. You can use the app to control the speaker features such as power, equalizer, sound mode, etc. I like that I was able to easily pair it with my Google Home app as well. It also works with Alexa, Chromecast, Airplay, etc. For a smaller soundbar, it definitely packs a punch. The sound is clear and crisp at even high volume levels. I’ll eventually move it into my living room to sync with my Samsung TV using the Q-Symphony feature. With Q-Symphony, all audio channels are optimized so the speakers work together to operate as one to create a really nice surround sound. My only complaint is at this price point, I was hoping for a digital photo display versus just a standard picture frame for displaying a print.
This Samsung soundbar is a different animal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Music Frame is definitely a unique soundbar. It's not your typical long soundbar that sits under a TV, and it doesn't have an external sub or the ability to connect to rear speakers. It physically can not reproduce surround like Samsung's HW-Q990C setup with a sub/rears simply due to the lack of hardware. So when I took what this "glorified" picture frame out of the box, I wanted to review it only in the setting that I'd be using it for. I did not hook it up to a TV to try Q-Symphony, nor did I get a second to pair in order to provide true 2.1 sound. I will have this on a shelf in a room, and will use it to either stream music, or to watch videos on my phone. In the box is the speaker, AC adapter, stand, photo frame, and wall mount components. There is no separate remote. The stand snaps in, the photo frame attaches to the main speaker with four posts like a speaker grill. Once on the stand, I connected it to the SmartThings app. There aren't many setting to play with - volume,, standard/music/adaptive sound modes, an equalizer with either 2 or 7 slide bars, SpaceFit on/off, Active Voice Amplifier on/off, and SmartThings Hub. My testing was simple - 2-channel music through BlueTooth, and adaptive sound to test Atmos capabilities. As expected, you do not get a hard punch with the bass. It's there and noticeable and fills out the sound decently. For music, I found that in standard mode with the advanced EQ, a really nice and clean sound. No real L/R separation, but room filling and really good nonetheless. The real test was watching some videos that had surround/Atmos, and this is where the Frame surprised me. Just sitting on a shelf, the sound wrapped from the front to the sides. I didn't get much from behind me, but the Frame deceptively fills the room out with sound. Because it's basically a picture frame, it can "hide" in a room unlike a soundbar. Whether on a shelf or on the wall, it's a picture with sound. If doesn't display pictures, just a single picture you put in the frame. This isn't a soundbar for real punch and full surround, but I think it's great for a room that you'd like to add sound to without making it a focal point.
Speaker in disguise
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker is truly a piece of art in more ways than one. The frame is beautiful and looks just like a regular art piece, which surprises people when they realize it’s actually a speaker. The sound quality is impressive, and it easily fills the room with surround sound when mounted on the wall. One of my favorite features is the ability to customize it with art frames and personal photos. I’ve connected it to my Samsung Frame TV via Wi-Fi, and the Q Symphony setup works seamlessly. Even with just one Music Frame, the audio experience is fantastic—imagine how immersive it would be with two of them connected! When I’m not using it with the TV, I stream music from my phone in the basement, and it fills the entire room—perfect for small gatherings or parties. Suggestions for Improvement: I’d love to see future versions allow Wi-Fi connections with other TV brands, and maybe even a version with a built-in LED display. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for both style and performance in a home speaker.
It sounds really nice, but alexa feature is buggy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just set recieved and set up my Samsung Music Frame about a week ago. The first thing I noticed was how nice it looked. It was kind of heavy but when properly mounted to the wall it will be just fine. Setting it up was easy enough when I used the Smartthings app on my phone. The only problem I had with the set up was getting Alexa to work on the music frame. And then once I finally got it to work, it would respond to commands but I could not get music to play from alexa commands. Next how the music frame sounds. It sounds incredible. The music frame gets insanely loud. I played some music over bluetooth and the bass is amazing also. You would never know that such sound can come from such a tiny frame that blends in so well with the room. Someday I plan on buying a Samsung Frame TV to go with the music frame and I can imagine it would take my setup to the next level. Being able to use Q Symphony with both devices is going to be awesome. I am pretty sure someday the software update with fix the alexa feature not being able to play music. Once they fix that I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a sound system that blends in perfectly with the rest of your room.

Great when works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got 2 music frames to act as surround speakers for my new Frame TV. When they are integrated they work really well. The sound is fantastic. But there are issues with them going offline and disconnecting and the new Frame which is supposed to be integrated to the music Frames remembering the settings. So have to reconnect and reconfigure almost every time. I like that can put your own photos in it
Simply Amazing!

Immerse Yourself
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the most amazing devices i've seen in years. I didn't realize that it automatically synced with my. Samsung TV and was providing me with sound like i've never heard before. It fits in, just like any other picture. Frame, you would have in your home. I love the picture that came in the display. At this point I won't be changing it
