I've used it 3 times so far, worked great everytime. The capacity is a little smaller than I thought, but it still hold temperature well. Seems to be built well and is easy to use. The controls are nice, especially the app. So far it's doing exactly what I wanted it to so far.

Absolutely love my GE Profile Smoker (Arden). I use it multiple times a week and it does a decent job. Mind you this does not replace or beat a real smoker, but for indoor and ease of use, it has a nice smoke profile on the meats and it does not get much easier than this device. I knocked off 1 star because my first one was defective, and my second one has a knob which turns really roughly.

I was one of the lucky ones to back this product before it was finalized by GE. I was in the first 100 to get my machine and I must say, I’ve been BLOWN away and in love with my GE Profile Smoker since I received it. I’ve tried just about everything in it, including smoking peaches and I just keep finding MORE stuff to smoke. I highly recommend it as it so user friendly, easy to clean, and has a great cooking guide/facebook group to help get things going. If you haven’t bought it yet? You’re seriously missing out on one of the best inventions yet.

A wonderful addition to any home kitchen, the GE Profile Indoor Smoker is a beautiful design. The Smoker is easy to use for a variety of meats and other foods. The graphic display has a number of pre-programmed recipes, or allows the user to fully customize a recipe based on their needs. The Smoker connects via WiFi to the GE SmartHQ app, which allows the user to monitor the smoker remotely. Cleanup is simple, as racks are stainless steel and the smoker interior is machine enamel. The large viewing window and interior light allows the user to monitor the smoking process. The probe works flawlessly, and is highly accurate. Longer smoking periods - and depending on pellets - can require pellet or water additions; again simple. In two weeks, have used six different pellets, and have smoked chicken pieces, whole chicken, pork ribs, ribeyes, tri-tips, and briskets. The ease of use and versatility quickly build confidence in the user, ensuring the machine will see frequent use!

The smoker works well. I have used it three times, beef ribs, brisket and pork ribs. I used the recommended settings for all three. The beef ribs turned out the best at the recommended probe temp of 190 degrees. Both the brisket and the pork ribs turned out a little dry using the probe temp of 200 and 190 respectively. Perhaps the temp probe is not accurate, so it might require experimenting some, perhaps using an external temp probe for comparison. Otherwise, all the controls worked well, and the smoking process went smoothly. No smoke in the house and the unit is quiet.

This is an impressive appliance that makes decent smoked foods accessible in the kitchen. It's not an offset smoker, but it does the job. It will be interesting to see how it holds up over the coming months and years (obviously it is technically more complex than the typical outdoor smoker, with both electronic controls and an air scrubber to remove smoke). I honestly didn’t know what to expect from it because an indoor smoker just sounds interesting but it blew me and my husband away. We have been smoking stuff all month long, stuff I didn’t even know you could smoke I’ve been tying out, like different cheeses and olives maybe others know have done this but to someone who has no experience smoking food it’s been a blast. The first thing we went with was a pork shoulder and it came out so tender with just the right amount of smokiness to it. You could hear the machine cycling the pellets but it’s not loud at all, I was worried the house would get smoky and position the machine next to the window just in case but that never happened. The smell fills the house just like baking something in the oven and it’s very pleasant. This has been the best thing we’ve added to our kitchen and I’m so excited to keep trying out new recipes.

This smoker is fantastic! I was skeptical about the indoor smoker not smoking my house up, and am pleasantly surprised! We smoked wings one day and then ribs the following. They were delicious and we are hooked! This has made smoking meats super simple and effortless.
