This smoker is perfect for getting the right amount of smoke flavor anytime of the year. Once set up you just let it do its thing. The app is handle in keeping track of it and controlling it. All you need is to find your favorite recipe and enjoy it. Very easy to clean is a big plus

I just used my smoker for the first time today !! I already love it ... I was apprehensive when I first heard about an indoor smoker and thought there's no way you could keep the smoke under control in your house.. but I found out today it absolutely does .. the flavor is awesome, better than off my Traeger pellet smoker .. I liked how easy it is to use, the compactness makes it so easy to fix a meal in a smaller surface for a smaller group rather using a full size grill/smoker .. Am anxious to keep learning and cooking with it .. It's just a really great and easy smoker to use and the smoky flavor is amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally was able to use the GE Profile indoor smoker and perfect timing to host for family gathering. This is not a small unit, you will need some counter space. I smoked a pork shoulder and it cooked to perfection. It took hours but the Wi-Fi app came in handy. The smoked flavor came through and my home was filled with nice aroma. Guests devoured this and was amazed at how it tasted. I still need to work on other meats to cook. I didn’t find any joy in cleaning the machine but who does.

I love the interior probe for cooking my chicken! It's so easy to use and makes everything smell (and taste!) delicious!! I can't wait to use it again and again! I also love that it's easy to clean -- such a HUGE bonus!!!!

[Employee of ge_appliances] I enjoy being able to make grilled/smoked meat inside. I am getting better at gauging how long and what temp to cook my favorite cut of meat. I was afraid the house would smell like smoke. It smells just as if I would have cooked the item in the oven. I have to use the 5-smoke setting as the 3-setting provided little to no smoke flavor.

This indoor smoker puts out an unacceptable level of fumes. It's not not smoke that escapes but strong cooking fumes that affected everyone with allergies in my house and made eyes burn. I do not recommend it for indoor use. We thought at first that the temperature probe was keeping the door from closing all the way. But the fumes continued even after I cleared the smoker, removed the probe, carefully resealed the door, and continued cooking. This was a waste of money.

A wonderful addition to any home kitchen, the GE Profile Indoor Smoker is a beautiful design. The Smoker is easy to use for a variety of meats and other foods. The graphic display has a number of pre-programmed recipes, or allows the user to fully customize a recipe based on their needs. The Smoker connects via WiFi to the GE SmartHQ app, which allows the user to monitor the smoker remotely. Cleanup is simple, as racks are stainless steel and the smoker interior is machine enamel. The large viewing window and interior light allows the user to monitor the smoking process. The probe works flawlessly, and is highly accurate. Longer smoking periods - and depending on pellets - can require pellet or water additions; again simple. In two weeks, have used six different pellets, and have smoked chicken pieces, whole chicken, pork ribs, ribeyes, tri-tips, and briskets. The ease of use and versatility quickly build confidence in the user, ensuring the machine will see frequent use!

Overall not a bad machine. 2 cooks so far and user experience is positive. Taste and texture of finished product are very good. Normal setup is a MasterBuilt gravity fed charcoal smoker. Bought this so I could smoke indoors in the winter. The unit appears to live up to being advertised as smokeless as we have a very sensitive FIltrete home air filter in the same room as the smoker and it barely has any impact on it whereas regular cooking makes it go crazy. However, smokeless does not mean odorless. The unit does put out a rather strong smell. If you are overly sensitive to smells, this may not be the setup for you. The first cook was really bad and had to crack a window. Attribute it to burning off factory oils/finishes. Second cook was much better but it still puts out a distinctive smell. Hoping it gets better as I break the smoker in. Did have an issue on the second cook with the pellet hopper getting jammed. Pellets were not being fed by the hopper. Using Traeger Signature Blend pellets. Diagnosed as the pellets being too long causing the auger to get jammed. Emptied the bin and made sure to break up the pellets into smaller pieces by hand. Working like a charm now. I'll be trying other pellet brands to see if they have similar issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this smoker indoors several times and I seriously love it. My husband has an outdoor one but I won't use it. It intimidates me and it's cold or rainy most of the time. This does smoke some but nothing major. I open3d my back door and it was fine. I never had a smoke detector go off either so it wasn't much smoke at all. I love how easy it is to use. Also the food comes out delicious. I love the temperature gauge so you don't have to keep checking it and can keep an eye on it On the app or the outside reading on the smoker. This will be used tons in the future
