This indoor smoker puts out an unacceptable level of fumes. It's not not smoke that escapes but strong cooking fumes that affected everyone with allergies in my house and made eyes burn. I do not recommend it for indoor use. We thought at first that the temperature probe was keeping the door from closing all the way. But the fumes continued even after I cleared the smoker, removed the probe, carefully resealed the door, and continued cooking. This was a waste of money.

After using it for 6 months it is the appliance that I love most. Use it every week, and the foods is good, smoky and tender. My family love the food that come out from it. I live at an apartment, and it is ideal for small spaces. Compared to an outdoor smoker this one is 10 times more advanced, it's like comparing a old truck to a Ferrari, no comparison at all. The GE Smoker is at a next level, yes, not as potent as a wood burning outdoor smoker but I can't use those at my apartment, and GE is simpler, set it and forget it and get the yummy food some hours later, yes you can remove, and wrap the food, etc., etc. all the same as any other smoker and cook the same as any other smoker. The big difference is that it uses the pallets to create smoke, not to create heat, the heat is created by electricity, so it is more consistent, and the smoke is great and controllable. It can be set to pre stored cooking cycles like brisket, ribs, etc. or just customize the time and temperature by yourself. The size is just right for me and my family. It is simple to use and simple to clean, great result all the time. Connected to the phone you always know what's going on and what need to be done. I love it. It is expensive compared to other smokers, but in my opinion, it is worth it.

This a simple away to get smoker like cooking done in apartment living. It is easy to setup and use. It does what it sets out to do, provide a way to get smoker cooking done indoors. This is not going to be the same as smoking outdoors, but when you don't have that option this is the next best thing.

And the other day I made my famous mac and cheese in the smoker and it was eating all in one night , it was so good. Cooks all our favorites .This smoker is very easy to use. Also an easy clean up. The pellets are perfect and give off a lot of flavor. You would think you were at a real BBQ place with this product. No smoke throughout my house. Can't wait to try out even more recipes. This has to be my most favorite appliance. I highly highly recommend this brand and product. You won't be disappointed, you'll be the neighborhood favorite.

We like to smoke brisket year round and being in the Midwest it makes for uncomfortable weather conditions while smoking. This indoor smoker is beautiful and amazing. It has several cooking modes including Brisket which makes it super easy. The racks are very nice and has a drip pan as well as thermometer. It also has an auto keep warm feature that is phenomenal. This was easy to set up. I was slightly intimidated at the thought of operating it but it was a breeze and comes with very detailed instructions. This is a MUST buy!

This smoker ups the convenience factor at a thousand. It is foolproof cooking at it's finest. It is extremely user friendly, through a great interface. The recipe book is the perfect start to use the smoker. The racks are easy to clean. It's perfect for a small household or a crowd. I love that it comes with smoking pellets so that I was able to immediately get up and smoking. This week, I have smoked peaches, a pork loin and will be smoking a ham for Christmas. I love that I can smoke cherries for cocktails too. Where has this been all of Mt life?

I love this indoor smoker. I had a pressure cooker smoker and it stopped working. It works just like an out door smoker but is inside. You can smell the smoke in the house, the pressure cooker was the same way, but there is not really any smoke that I see in the house, just in the smoker. It is easy to use, but does have a learning curve like most things. I have smoked several things and compared to my out door smoker it does the same job.

The order of setup and the instructions for initial use were not really organized well. I found myself going back and forth between pages to be sure I was doing the initial setup steps in the right order. The first thing I wanted to try was smoked chicken wings. Finding the setting for chicken wings was really easy. Just turn the dial and push the dial then press start. Super easy. The cook time was a bit longer than I thought it would be but once you set it and go find something to do it really goes by quick. While smoking, I was amazed that the house didn't smell like something was smoking. How does it do that?! The ventilation system is really good. And the flavor of those wings were so good. Although there are other recipes in the recipe book that came with the smoker that I will one day try, I will likely just use it to smoke my chicken wings bc that flavor was amazing. Cleanup was easy. The waste bin is located conveniently in the front. So is the pellet bin. Disposing the used wood pellets was easy and mess-free. Reloading the pellets was simple and clean. The door is secure and opens smoothly and quietly. It operates quietly, as well. This is a high quality device. Also, connecting to the internet was also a breeze. There's an app that gets you easily connected to wifi. I don't really need the remote access to it because of the amount of time it takes to smoke food but its's a really cool app and I love having the latest technology. Overall, this appliance is fantastic. It also very nice looking. It add so much sophistication to my counertop.
