My mattress is 80 inch long, the platform is 75 inch. Other aspects are fine. There is a little noise when I sit in the middle where joint is but no big deal. I have not slept on the bed yet. I originally thought the platform is completely solid flat on the top it actually is similar to boxspring with square soft wires top. I put the thin plywood coming with the package on the top part of the bed to protect my thin 4-inch mattress.
