This is the best thing in my kitchen. I have been waiting for an indoor smoker all my life and the Arden does not disappoint. I've gotten the same quality of BBQ out of my Arden as my outside smoker pretty much. Its easy and so hands off that anyone can become a pit master. Mac n Cheese, ribs, wings, turkey, you name it. The built-in presets are awesome and make it easy for my wife and I to cook just about anything. The tenperature probe has been a blessing, because my wife is a stickler for making sure the food is cooked just right. Clean up is really easy thanks to the pellet catcher. If you're a fan of smoked food and want to enjoy it anytime, in any weather, you should get this indoor smoker. It's beyond worth it.

The smoker is well thought out and works well. Don't expect a really deep smoke, but it works great. My only criticism would be, no option to cold smoke. Not sure why software couldn't disable the main heater and only run the pellet heater. Love the machine despite...

Just a quick public service announcement about the GE Indoor Smoker: there’s a major issue where it can get stuck in preheat mode and never actually start smoking. The chamber heats up like it should, but for some reason, it doesn’t transition from preheating to being ready to smoke. This happened to me after only four uses, and after digging around online, I found that it’s not just me - plenty of others have run into the same problem. It’s a real disappointment because I was really enjoying the smoker. But now, I’m questioning the quality control - this seems to be happening way too often. Bottom line: buyer beware. You might end up with a lemon like I did. Hopefully, GE steps up and fixes this issue for good.
