Just a quick public service announcement about the GE Indoor Smoker: there’s a major issue where it can get stuck in preheat mode and never actually start smoking. The chamber heats up like it should, but for some reason, it doesn’t transition from preheating to being ready to smoke. This happened to me after only four uses, and after digging around online, I found that it’s not just me - plenty of others have run into the same problem. It’s a real disappointment because I was really enjoying the smoker. But now, I’m questioning the quality control - this seems to be happening way too often. Bottom line: buyer beware. You might end up with a lemon like I did. Hopefully, GE steps up and fixes this issue for good.

This smoker is perfect for getting the right amount of smoke flavor anytime of the year. Once set up you just let it do its thing. The app is handle in keeping track of it and controlling it. All you need is to find your favorite recipe and enjoy it. Very easy to clean is a big plus

I’ve smoked turkey legs and wings. This was my first smoke and it turned out amazing!! I have did three different kinds of chicken wings. Last night I made macaroni and cheese. Tonight I will make the peach cobbler or apple cobbler. This is easy to use and I love it!! The house smells soooo good while smoking.

Love this smoker. It is such an easier way to make delicious smoked meats without the pain of an outdoor smoker. I've had it for a number of months, and I've had zero issues with it. it seems small, but you can fit more in there than you may expect. It's pretty easy to control and the app is user-friendly.

It is also not meant for steaks but added a lot of good smoky flavor. It’s super easy to use & you can make some killer foods. Whatever you can make in the oven you can make in this but it adds a nice smoke flavor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the pleasure of diving into the world of indoor smoking with the GE Profile Indoor Smoker.  The convenience of smoking meat indoors with a plug-in appliance is huge to me, but I was a bit skeptical about how well it would actually smoke meat and how well it would filter the smoke.  So far, I've been super impressed with the results! I was really impressed by the build quality of this appliance - It feels solid and its sleek and modern design is very attractive.  Unpacking and assembly was very simple, basically just install the racks and drip pan, then plug it in.  It comes with an app that I thought was going to be a gimmick, but it turned out to be incredibly convenient for remotely monitoring temperatures from my phone.  The remote temperature monitoring and convenience of smoking without going outside are total game-changers! I tested it out by smoking some St. Louis-style ribs, and the results were nothing short of spectacular!  I prepped the ribs with a dry rub the night before to allow the flavors to meld. The next day, I loaded the smoker with hickory wood pellets, set the temperature to a moderate 225°F, and let the magic happen.  I bumped the temperature up to 350 for the last 30 minutes to crisp them up.  I was very happy with the ribs:  They had a deep smoky flavor, a nice crispy exterior, and retained a tender and juicy interior.  Clean-up was a simple wipe down and washing out the drip tray. You can definitely smell smoke within the house when it's running, kinda of like the same smell you'd get out of baking in the oven, but with just a bit more smoke.  I think the filtration system does a really good job and it did better than I expected.  I actually like the smell as it reminds me of when we'd burn wood in the fireplace growing up.  Overall, I've been really impressed with the GE Profile Indoor Smoker.  It easily beat my expectations:  It makes smoking much faster and more convenient.  The temperature probe in the app makes it incredibly easy to monitor progress, and clean-up is a breeze.  I'm really looking forward to try out smoking new things like olives or brussels sprouts.

This product is great! It's easy to use and understand. Clean up is a little involved but not bad at all. I highly recommend it if you're not that great into outdoor smoking. The space that it takes up is not too much. I would have like to see a thermometer port for each levels incase you're smoking three different items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this pellet indoor smoker and absolutely love it was very easy to use I recommend making sure to follow the instructions to a tee. We smoked a ham in there for thanksgiving and used the Kona flavor pellets and it had just the right amount of flavor and we had nothing but great feed back on the ham. I recommend everyone to go out and try for themselves. This is a very good investments and this is definitely something for when the colder months get here
