The smoker works awesome; has great features the app works well, is a decent capacity for what it is…HOWEVER the cord is too short and with how hot the exterior of the thing gets it will make vinyl coverings on cupboards peel if it’s within 5 inches and even though it’s pretty smokeless it will leave smoke rings on the walls where your pictures hang or furniture was, maybe in a house setting it won’t but in a small apartment it definitely does.

I’ve never saw anything like this before.It makes the best smoked food that I can cook right in my Kitchen and it doesn’t smoke my house up!It fit 3 slabs of ribs perfectly in there!There are no additional filters to replace or clean. Best part is you connect it to Wi-Fi and it has an app it’s very easy to set up and it allows me to be fully in control of it! Perfect size it doesn’t take up alot of space either!

Just got it. Made some great ribs and a really good brisket. As an apartment dweller I can't have a full size smoker but this has been working great. Apartment smells like a campfire while the actual smoking is going on but no lingering smell. Cleanup is pretty easyl.

We used it at least 5 times in December and two times so far this month. The preset food settings are a big plus. No more guessing how long to let any meat cook. The fact that it also features five different smoke settings makes such a difference. Our old traditional smoker only smoked food one way. I tend to like some meats less smoke-flavored than others. Being able to adjust the amount has been great, and we are all enjoying that feature. There is also a temperature probe built in so you can check your smoking meat without the hassle of finding a meat thermometer. Using the pellets is very easy. There is a place at the top of the smoker to put in the amount of pellets needed to create the right amount of smokiness that you would like. After the meat is cooked and clean-up time comes, the smoker extinguishes the pellets that you used and pellets and keeps them in a tank for super fast and easy cleanup. The glass doors let you watch what you are cooking, a feature that my kids love to keep checking on. The one feature that I love, and find to be unique is the smoke and hold feature. I can cook the main course and then the smoker will keep it at the right temperature until it is time to eat. I would recommend the GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker to anyone who loves to smoke meat, wants convenience, and loves an excellent quality product.

I love the fact that even in an apartment or indoor setting i can still have smoked food! The smell coming off of the smoker smells reminiscent of firewood so it doesn't stink up the house. The temperature and smoke controls are two different things which gives so much flexibility when cooking.

The instructions were easy to follow. Set up was quick and easy. My first attempt was Buffalo Wings for Super Bowl Sunday. Wings came out moist and delicious and the hickory smoked flavor was awesome. As I write this there is a brisket in the smoker. I live in northeast Ohio and to be able to use this smoker indoors twelve months out of the year and achieve the same quality is amazing.

Whether I'm experimenting with chicken or perfecting tilapia, it has seriously improved my cooking, giving my home-cooked meals a fantastic barbecue flavor. We love tandoori chicken, but it's usually tricky to make at home. This smoker, though, captures that smoky flavor perfectly. One great thing about it is that it adds rich flavors to my dishes with very less unnoticeable smoke or no smoke at all. It cooks everything perfectly and even keeps the food warm after it's done cooking. The pellet capture system is genius, making cleanup super easy by collecting used pellets in a water tank. Remember to use a dedicated circuit as given in instruction and this beast doesn't take up much counter space. Now, with the holidays around the corner, I'm excited to show off my improved cooking skills to friends and family. This smoker is perfect for getting the right amount of smoke flavor anytime of the year. Once set up you just let it do its thing. The app is handle in keeping track of it and controlling it. All you need is to find your favorite recipe and enjoy it. Very easy to clean is a big plus

A wonderful addition to any home kitchen, the GE Profile Indoor Smoker is a beautiful design. The Smoker is easy to use for a variety of meats and other foods. The graphic display has a number of pre-programmed recipes, or allows the user to fully customize a recipe based on their needs. The Smoker connects via WiFi to the GE SmartHQ app, which allows the user to monitor the smoker remotely. Cleanup is simple, as racks are stainless steel and the smoker interior is machine enamel. The large viewing window and interior light allows the user to monitor the smoking process. The probe works flawlessly, and is highly accurate. Longer smoking periods - and depending on pellets - can require pellet or water additions; again simple. In two weeks, have used six different pellets, and have smoked chicken pieces, whole chicken, pork ribs, ribeyes, tri-tips, and briskets. The ease of use and versatility quickly build confidence in the user, ensuring the machine will see frequent use!

I use a traditional outdoor wood chip smoker very regularly and have a lot of experience across different food types. I am pleased to say that your conventional smoking experience translates easily and directly to this new indoor smoker, however the indoor unit is far less complicated to achieve the very same results. This unit is approximately the size of a mini fridge and commands a presence on your countertop, but is modern looking and does not seem out of place. The internal volume is reasonable and appropriate for smoking a one to two meals worth of food at once. I found that the extreme convenience and smart features (that guide your smoking process and provide insight to what’s going on via the connected app) do make up for any volume limitations. Convenience is the key word here – gone is the endless shuffle of adding chips or water as you race back and forth between the comforts of indoors and the interested insects, blistering summer heat, or the bite of a frosty winter. Instead, the connected app keeps you informed and there is simply less to do after initial setup. When the smoking process is complete the unit’s smoke elimination process completely cleans the air (without needing filters) and doesn’t simply evacuate smoke into your home. Chicken wings and legs have been a regular (and easy!) occurrence thanks to the GE Profile Smart Electric Smoker, and the conservative interior volume seems to translate to keeping meat far more moist than my outdoor unit – fish especially. Cleaning is also far easier than traditional units, and the smell from your last cook does not linger. Every annoyance of outdoor smoking seems directly addressed and overcome by this unit, and the quality of the food is amazing every time.
