So far I’ve smoked venison and salmon, and I’ll be smoking some beef jerky soon, and this machine doesn’t skip a beat. The ability to do this indoors is phenomenal, and at Thanksgiving you can expect to be the star of the show. I have three family members lined up to use it after me and I just tax them some product for letting them use it. Highly highly highly recommend this thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GE Profile indoor smoker and I am totally in love. On Thanksgiving we made the most delicious, juicy , smoked turkey breast. And the other day I made my famous mac and cheese in the smoker and it was eating all in one night , it was so good. Cooks all our favorites .This smoker is very easy to use. Also an easy clean up. The pellets are perfect and give off a lot of flavor. You would think you were at a real BBQ place with this product. No smoke throughout my house. Can't wait to try out even more recipes. This has to be my most favorite appliance. I highly highly recommend this brand and product. You won't be disappointed, you'll be the neighborhood favorite.

I can try out recipes and have fun while trying to be a perfectionist in the comfort of my home. I couldn't wait to try this so I did ribs first. They turned out really good and my apartment smelled wonderful too!! I tried a brisket and IT WAS GREAT!! I am going to try a ham tomorrow but am so pleased with this product!! I'm still figuring the app out but am really happy with the indoor smoker and so pleased a trusted company produced such a wonderful product for those who do not have outdoor spaces. I strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to have the opportunity to smoke meat!! I am sure I'll be using this every weekend and for many special occasions. I first used the appliance on my counter and had it pushed up against the wall. It was getting pretty hot under that cabinet so I moved the unit to cook on top of my island counter which worked a little better with the space. We did smell a little smoke from the unit when we were cooking chicken wings. You do have to clean the unit pretty thoroughly when you are done with it but we really like it.

You can literally send how you want it cooked to the machine threw the app. This is the best technology ever. It tells you when it’s done. You don’t even need to be home. Has so many things you can cook inside it. Just luv it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect smoker for a family. We smoked an 8lb brisket with better than expected results. I was skeptical at first but the appliance worked great. The brisket was cut into 3 pieces to fit in the racks. We did leave it longer than recommended but it still came out very tender with a good crust and best of all...smokey. Next time I will use the temperature probe instead. We did not have any lingering smoke odor in the house, just the smell of the brisket slow cooking. Controls were intuitive and easy to use. Awesome little appliance to get that smoked taste without the outdoor hassle. The SmartHQ App kept hanging up at the legal terms so wasn't used but we were able to use the appliance just fine without it.

Being from the Midwest, and a city where we’re proud of our BBQ (we think we’re number 1 in the US!), I had to try out this indoor smoker. I’ve frequently used smokers over the last 15 years from old school to new/advanced. I have to say this one tops them all. Upon arrival, I was impressed how compact it was yet it has plenty of room for smoking a whole brisket, racks of ribs, or wings. I’ve tried out some smoked wings and a brisket on separate occasions. Let’s start with set up: - the app took minutes to set up - the app is bi-directional meaning you can SEND COMMANDS to the smoker and adjust it while being away from the kitchen - the pellets come in different flavors and have been wonderful so far Set up: - the smoker turns on and has its settings prompted right away with recommendations - it takes seconds to add pellets, water, insert the thermometer and START! It’s amazing watching the action take place from behind the window and if you ever want to air out the smoke in the smoker you simply can. Our smoker was next to our window but it didn’t give our home any trouble for the air quality. We keep an air purifier nearby and it never dropped below 90%. The recommended settings worked out perfectly as I had nothing to adjust. My family tried the meat without knowing I had a new smoker and received nothing but praise and compliments. It’s officially passed the test and surpassed all my top quality smokers that are outside. During the winter; this will be used weekly as we’re excited to replicate all of our favorite dishes. This is simply a must have. It’s the best, priced competitively, easy to clean, and simply revolutionary in this space. Just wow. This will make a great gift for anyone who is interested in the smoking hobby! We highly recommend it!

Smoke ring is a bit lacking, smoke flavor was not what I expected, cleaning the machine is the reason for the 3 star rating - it is not an easy machine to use for that reason alone and cost was substantial. Cooking features, temperature, electronic monitoring all are nice and useful.

I've done three smokes so far. 2 venison sausage and 1 dried beef (venison). All turned out fantastic. Very easy to control. Clean up was a breeze. No smoke in the house. It's winter here in Wisconsin. It's nice not having to go out in the cold to fire up the big smoker.

Just got it. Made some great ribs and a really good brisket. As an apartment dweller I can't have a full size smoker but this has been working great. Apartment smells like a campfire while the actual smoking is going on but no lingering smell. Cleanup is pretty easyl.
