[Employee of ge_appliances] This smart smoker is a fantastic product. it can seamlessly cook nearly anything the same as an outdoor smoker. The only downside I have found is it does not work well with any brand of pellets. The pit boss pellets jammed it up but Kona pellets worked really well.

Great indoor smoker, but it does not give you that smoky flavor as an outdoor will. It cooks great and really easy to clean. The only issues I would point out would be that the rest temp only goes down to 140. The lowest probe temp is 110. We like our steaks to come off at 100 and then do a reverse sear and then have them around 130 internal. With this smoker, you have to stay on top and ones it goes into rest mode, get them out or it will keep cooking them. Over all it does a really great job for cold weather and needing to do it indoors, or if your not able to have an outdoor smoker.

This indoor smoker is constructed very well, it’s not a cheap throwaway appliance. Everything was very easy to configure and the Wi-Fi hooked up very easily. I’m already doing my first pork shoulder and it’s working absolutely fantastic! I am very happy with this unit!

The Indoor Smart Smoker from GE Profile managed to make an impression though, because it’s now a new favorite hobby. We grill and BBQ often, and have a large outdoor smoker and grill that we must brave some currently nasty weather in order to use. If it’s summertime, it’s just as bad except mosquitoes are attacking you instead of frostbite. Terrible weather is no longer an excuse now, and we wholeheartedly recommend this small-space friendly indoor smart smoker to transform almost any kind of food into a mouthwatering sensation. The best part is that while this appliance stands up to even the most seasoned chef, a novice who can’t cook (me, in this situation) can also whip up some delicious food with this invention’s help.

It is also not meant for steaks but added a lot of good smoky flavor. It’s super easy to use & you can make some killer foods. Whatever you can make in the oven you can make in this but it adds a nice smoke flavor.
