I was very skeptical at first living in a small apartment and worried about the smoke but when I got her home and tried my first prime rib I was amazed there was no smell of smoke and my prime rib turned out perfectly. I was amazed with the technology and how well it cooked my meat. I am a True Believer and this smoker is amazing. I have recommended to all my friends and hope they take advantage of this indoor smokeless smoker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, what a game changer this has been for me. I no longer used my outdoor grill. What I love the most about this product is that it lets you know every detail about your ribs being done. I can now use it freely indoor and do not have to worry about making ribs in the cold outdoors. I also like the extra racks and how you can remove them freely for more/less space. One thing I did have trouble with, was placing the pebbles to start the heating process. I managed to get it in the end.Very satisfied overall with this product.

Outstanding smoker. Makes winter smoking easy in New England and delivers results every bit as good as my outdoor equipment. Bought it when it came out last year and never regretted it. Only complaint would be the included cookbook doesn’t really take the specific behaviors of this device into account, but that’s a minor issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid smoker of meat mainly in my backyard and sometimes in my garage with the garage door open (when it is too cold to sit out back). It was certainly an inconvenience moving the smoker to the garage. When I received the GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker, I was certainly a “doubter” in believing it could replicate the taste of my outdoor smoker and certainly an even bigger doubter that it could do so without causing my smoke detectors to go off in my home! The joke was certainly on me. During a football gathering of my friends and family, I had decided to rustle up some smoked chicken. From the convenience (and warmth I might add) of my kitchen, I loaded and primed up the pellets and pre-heated the GE Smoker. I was amazed at how few pellets the smoker took in comparison to my outdoor smoker. I loaded my spice rubbed chicken on the racks, inserted the integrated thermometer and chose the pre-programmed chicken selection, we all watched in amazement off and on over about a 3-hour period (all surely awaiting smoke to fill the room setting off the smoke detectors!). We were all pleasantly surprised that the only thing we smelled was the wonderful aroma of the smokey scent and no smoke alarms were set off. Cannot wait to try my hand conveniently and easily at a few racks of ribs and pork all year round but particularly in the colder months as it is so easy to do so using the GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker. I think my next smoker project will be a nice beef brisket. I can almost taste it now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing. My wife didn’t know what it was. But once I got it hooked up and smoked some stuff in it she loved it. The food was great and we are always using it. Definitely need a special plug installed for it though.

I have never been so happy with something in my life. This is a dream come true! My husband got this for US.. well I have taken ownership of it and I am very happy with this appliance! This is a great machine with a couple of notes. Producing more smoke would be nice. Even in the highest smoke setting. Circulation could be better. It’s significantly hotter at the top of the chamber. Especially on the top right side. Requiring turning of the item multiple times during the cook to prevent burning. You can increase smoke into the item by waiting till the preheat is over then waiting to put your item in until you actually see smoke. You can easily lose 25min waiting for smoke to start going. It Would be nice if smoke actually started at the end of the preheat cycle. That out of the way…. I would buy this machine again.

At first I was a bit leary of an indoor smoker, but this thing exceeded all my expectations I have been recommending it to all my family and friends after smoking ribs, wings, brisket, and turkey breast While I wish it was a little bit more affordable, there is no other reason why every apartment or house should have one There is no more odor than baking a cake in the oven, and after you add water and pellets and select what you're cooking, it smokes everything to perfection And it automatically keeps stuff warm until you're ready to eat ***** maybe ******

It says it is a smoker even tho it’s only a hint of smoke but for a busy person like me, I can do two things at once & still cook real good restaurant-like meals 😃!!! We don’t have to always buy food; I can easily prep at night or in d morning & leave it smoking for 6 hours & by d time m done w/ my other task, meals r ready! I like it when I can automate things! This does d job for me so it’s definitely a keeper 😁💪!!!

A very smart appliance It guides you through every step of the way of setting it up. So far I had an excellent smoked salmon hot and flaky. It's built like a tank and weighs about the same 55 lb so you might need help moving it to a location unit want. Smoke alarm friendly I've had my air oven set this alarm off but not this smoker
