The app is useful when you have to go do laundry but want to smoke a turkey breast for Thanksgiving! It has preset cool settings for a novice like me or custom cook if you are a smoking Joe. It left a nice bark and a wonderful smoke flavor. We've been smoking almost every other meal since we got it! We really loved pairing it with the Kona wood chips! This Smoker is everything!!!

We are now able to smoke meats indoors, without the smoke, just the sweet, sweet smell of smoked food. This smoker is very simple to set up, get the app all set up, and ready to start the first smoking job, with the ease of the app and the instructions included, we were ready to begin in no time! There are 5 adjustable smoke settings, and 6 preset settings for this smoker, the preset options are nice for the beginner smoker, and the 5 adjustable settings are great for a person who has experience, and wants to experiment to get their perfect flavor. The pellets are very simple to use, and not many are required for each use, it is very efficient, and a lot less used than with an outdoor smoker. The pellets are collected in a water tank making clean up a breeze, as you let them cool and throw them out. The drip pan is very simple to clean as well, just wipe it out, then wipe clean with dish soap. The 3 racks, are also not hard to clean, as they can be soaked, and food comes right off. The built in temperature probe is very handy, as it is always updating the app with the temp of the food, as well as it is very simple to use without the app to see the temp of the food. The pulled pork that we had smoked turned out fantastic with this smoker, better than we ever imagined, the flavor was perfect, not strong, and definitely not weak. The pork pulled apart with ease, had the perfect smoked color, and flavor. The smoker is the depth of a normal size counter, after it cooled down, we cleaned it, we have it stored in the cabinet, as to not take up all our counter space. The smoker, does provide a strong smoking smell into our home, it is not vented out very well, making our home smell like a firepit. Overall the food smoked is great, flavor is amazing, easy set up, wonderful app control, we have no complaints!

I had an outdoor smoker for years before I moved to an urban environment. I tried everything for years to include electric outdoor smokers but to no avail. When I saw this product announced I was extremely skeptical. I've done multiple smokes on difficult meats and this thing is as good as it gets to replicate a smoker indoors. Its your 80% solution to smoking meats indoors.

I've fit 12 (could have been 16) jumbo chicken thighs; several dozen wings; two whole chickens; two racks of ribs; a big butt; a good-sized brisket; and three salmon filets... Come on, how much more do you need for the family, yourself, even a modest party, especially from something compact enough for the countertop? The taste, close enough to a match to outdoor to satisfy all but the snobbiest smokers. Want crispier exterior? Add a little sugar to the rub (I love and get great results using brown sugar for caramelization). Smoke in the room? No, there's some scent of smoke, but very light and dissipates quickly; if you truly follow instructions, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Of course, if that's not enough, spark a scented candle, or set it near a small air purifier and you've got it! Easy clean-up? Absolutely, hello dishwasher and a light wipe-down in the cabinet. Do yourself a favor and get this thing, and download the app, it's so easy and honestly the output is delicious. The engineers are genius; I can't wait to see what they do with version 2!

This product is absolutely fantastic. It is absolutely cold outside, this indoor smoker allows me to stay in the house nice and warm. I have larger smokers that require being outside to use. I do notvalways feeling like using g those bigger ones in below zero weather, which is why I am glad that I purchased this.
