I just adore food that is smoked and grilled and finally the same taste food I can do inside my apartments kitchen. The taste is delicious, juicy, hot and crunchy. The smoker has different smoke levels to give different flavours. My favorite so far is smoked salmon and meat. It’s prefect! One of the features that I really like is that it can keep the food warm. The filtration works just fine and so far I didn’t have any issues at all. The cleaning process is easier than actual outdoor grill and I just can put some parts in dishwasher for better results. Overall, it is well thought and well made appliance that will spice up dinner routine.

Easy to use and the results exceeded our expectations. It is perfect for our small family and clean up isn’t as bad as we thought. It has opened up more dinner options and I am eating healthier than ever as I smoke my own pastrami, bacon, salmon and much more and no loner buying over processed foods. This will not substitute for a traditional smoker, but it provides tremendous convenience for the smaller families.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect from it because an indoor smoker just sounds interesting but it blew me and my husband away. We have been smoking stuff all month long, stuff I didn’t even know you could smoke I’ve been tying out, like different cheeses and olives maybe others know have done this but to someone who has no experience smoking food it’s been a blast. The first thing we went with was a pork shoulder and it came out so tender with just the right amount of smokiness to it. You could hear the machine cycling the pellets but it’s not loud at all, I was worried the house would get smoky and position the machine next to the window just in case but that never happened. The smell fills the house just like baking something in the oven and it’s very pleasant. This has been the best thing we’ve added to our kitchen and I’m so excited to keep trying out new recipes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to owning this machine; if you told me you were going to smoke an 11 pound pork butt indoors, I would have laughed and advised you that it wasnt possible. This week I have done just that and more with perfect results. The Profile indoor smoker is a marvel of engineering that I cant quite wrap my head around. I wont say that you cant tell its running, there is an ever so slight yet pleasant aroma of wood smoke that is noticeable in whatever room you have it setting. However there is no visible haze or smoke and it isnt intrusive by any means. As far as the food, everything I have run through it from the aforementioned pork, to brisket, and down to wings has come out flawless. The unit heats evenly and in the same amount of time that my outdoor smoker takes. I will say that it is incredibly efficient, the Profile smoker uses about a 3rd of the amount of pellets my outdoor unit consumes for an equivalent time period. All the racks and interior components are dishwasher safe and so far have come out looking like new. I will add that I am a stickler for safety; I had two separate carbon monoxide detectors staged in the room with the smoker. Neither alerted and on my professional model no elevation of ppm was noted. I cannot fathom how GE has managed to accomplish all this but I know i am very pleasantly surprised. I look forward to many years of delicious service. Another absolute home run in the G.E. Profile line.

This smoker is fantastic! I was skeptical about the indoor smoker not smoking my house up, and am pleasantly surprised! We smoked wings one day and then ribs the following. They were delicious and we are hooked! This has made smoking meats super simple and effortless.

I purchased the profile indoor smoker because I live in a small rural town and have nowhere outside to put a pellet smoker and I can say since I’ve purchased it I have used it every day it is a versatile tool in the kitchen for cooking food with delicious smoked flavor the pulled pork I made was what sealed the deal 13 hour smoke came out perfect flavorful and juicy and I love the ease of use provided by the app and the fact that it gives maximum flavor while keeping cleanup and pellet use to a minimum everything about it is built solid and made for long lasting cooking I am a very happy customer.

One thing I don’t like about it though is that I do smell a wood smell throughout my house when I am using it. I feel like that kind of defeats it’s purpose because I thought you wouldn’t smell the smoke in the house. I also noticed with this Vs a regular smoker the Smokey flavor didn’t penetrate the food completely. I actually like that because when I have tried to smoke cheese usually it taste too strong but with this ge smoker it was just the right amount of Smokey. All in all if your not able to have a full size smoker and don’t mind a Smokey smell while using this is a great alternative.
