It has no preservatives, no artificial flavors. I usually prepare it using the microwave method. The taste is good and I love all the goodness of veggies in it.

It was a little bit dry when I removed it from the package. The ingredients looked OK. The taste was less flavorful than I had hoped. I thought this product was very bland, considering it was Spanish rice. The texture was a little bit harder and chillier than my regular microwave Spanish rice brand. I will not purchase this again.

It's going to become one of those staples for office emergency food, since it's easy to cook in the microwave and stores at room temperature.
