It has tons of features: 4 different brushing modes to accommodate your target ( Clean, Sensitive, Gum Health, and White), 3 different intensity settings (High, Medium, and Low), tells you when it's time to replace your brush head via syncing, syncing also helps you brush all your teeth areas, times your brushing so you brush for the recommended time, has pressure sensors to alert you if you're brushing to hard, the app tells you useful information about your brushing session(s), useful lights on the toothbrush handle letting you know how much juice aka battery life remaining, last but not least...a USB and Travel Case charger is included allowing you to easily charge and take your toothbrush with you anywhere!! There are two negatives: first sometimes the toothbrush handle will loose connection with the app once brushing has started already. It will tell you please stop toothbrush, reconnect and restart brushing. Upside, your brushing session will still register once you reconnect your brush handle to the app. No need to restart your session. You won't have visual assistance. The second gripe is, I wish a wall adapter was included. None of these are deal breakers for me highly recommending. I would purchase and recommend the purchase for this toothbrush handle.

Also, the grip is great and provides a meaningful clean. The vibrations can be too strong at times but can be controlled by switching options. The charging case is fantastic for travel as it is much more compact than comparable products and the battery life is far better than my previous Sonicare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this Philips Sonicare toothbrush to be not only extremely effective at getting my teeth clean, but also at improving my brushing in a way I can see in the app. This brush runs on a 2 minute or longer timed setting, depending on the brushing option I choose: clean, sensitive, white or gum health. And when you brush with the app open, you can see guided lit-up areas as you brush your teeth. The different brushing options change the areas you'll brush more, as well as the total time of the brushing session. I received this product for free as part of a product test.

I have never used one like the Sonicare 7100 though. I love the app that you can use to track your brushing. The timer is perfect and it literally stops when the time is up. The brush is pretty powerful which I love. My teeth feel clean after brushing. The timer also has the feature if you brush to hard it will show you. It comes with a travel case which is awesome. I definitely would recommend this toothbrush! I love it! I know that investing in a toothbrush is well worth the results!

I took 2 stars off because the app is less desirable. It's a glorified timer. There are tips and videos, but you really only look at them once. My problem with the app is that I don't always take my phone with me when I brush my teeth, but it forces me to, which makes me go back into the other room to get it when I forget.

Like the pressure sensor to make sure that you aren’t brushing too hard. Great battery life. Love the timer that lets you know when to brush in a different area and when your time is up. It is sleek and modern and a great addition to my oral hygiene routine. There are a few different modes you can choose from depending on your oral care goals. You can use the app to follow along to see what is the best approach for brushing/cleaning each section of your mouth. I used the app the first few times I brushed my teeth, but I don't always bring my phone to the bathroom, so I only used it at the beginning of the process to get acquainted with its features.

The levels are ok, but very intense especially for a first time user. I finally was able to find the level I was able to tolerate and am satisfied now. I would recommend this item with the caveat of using with care due to the intensity. Overall good product.
