The pre-treat feature took care of stains that had been there for 8 months+. I cannot believe how clean my carpets came out! Or how filthy they were which I saw when the output water came out a dark brown (gross). I highly recommend this product for anyone with kids or pets. It was easy to set up and use and was not too bulky or cumbersome. The output tank was easy to clean after using. Sure, you need to find some room to store this but it's no different than a vacuum. Highly recommend!

I have 2 large dogs that shed a bunch, and I also have 2 toddlers and live on an acreage where dirt is quite common! The areas where I have area rugs and carpet are high traffic and I vacuum them atleast once daily with a well know name brand vacuum. When I used the hydrosteam for the first time I was SHOCKED at the amount of hidden dirt and dog hair that this machine removed. This machine truly gets a DEEP clean and made me feel like I had really gotten rid of some pesky hair and dirt that I would not have otherwise gotten with just my routine vacuuming. Additionally, I have a couch that unfortunately shows any dirt and stain and the versatility of this cleaner to be able to use it as a spot cleaner as well was a game changer!!! Being able to use one machine for both jobs not only saves my sanity, but saves space in my cleaning closet as well from having to store 2 different machines to get the jobs done! I truly give this machine a 5/5 rating and I look forward to using it for many more deep cleaning jobs in my home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this carpet cleaner! Like, LOVE it. First and foremost it is SO easy to clean! The catch and clean tray is seriously next level design. You pop the tray and wipe it off and you’re 90% done with the cleaning process. As a busy mom of four children and two dogs the quick and easy clean out is probably my favorite feature. Initially I was going to try to get the pink make up stain out of our living room rug, but I was so impressed with how well the HydroSteam maneuvered and cleaned that I did the whole rug! Normally when it’s time to shampoo the children’s carpets I hem and haw and dread the day, but with the HydroSteam I cleaned my four year olds entire bedroom carpet in less than thirty minutes. Did I mention how quick and easy the machine clean out is yet? It took less than 10 minutes to clean out the entire machine, rinse all the parts and be on to the next activity so we could enjoy the day! The pretreat and steam cleaning options came in clutch for tough set in stains. It cleaned some very dried out and stuck in yellow clay out of my kiddos carpet. You can’t barely tell it was even there now. It doesn’t take very long to heat up the pretreat steam which is awesome! It worked very well on new and older stains alike. I lose things often so I really enjoyed the flip top cap on the clean water tank and the clearly marked fill lines for cleaning solution and water. There is even a half tank fill line which I thought was a great idea. Sometimes I only need to spot clean a small section so that came in super handy and reduced water and solution waste. The handheld upholstery cleaner has interchangeable rubber and bristle heads and a storage bag included. I really liked that it’s a 2 in 1 tool so it takes up less space in the utility closet. Overall, I’m really happy with this machine and can’t wait to convince all my friends to buy one, too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So im a bit of a vacuum nerd. I do way too much research before I buy one and I get excited when I get a new one. This one absolutely did not disappoint. It is not a small machine but it is worth the space it takes up. My favorite feature by far is the Hydrosteam tech and I had the perfect opportunity to use it recently. I make spring rolls and when I do I make my own spring roll sauce with Thai sweet chili, pears and chili sauce in it. After I made this sauce I went upstairs to get some stuff done before dinner and I forgot to put the lid on tightly. We'll unfortunately I also have a curious cat who decided it would be so fun to push the container off the counter. By the time I came down the mess was in the carpet pretty well. I cleaned it up as best I could with some cloths before I got down to the business of breaking out the cleaner. I first pretreated the mess using the pretreat feature since the sauce is obviously a pinkish red and I didnt want it to stay in the rug in any capacity. After that came thay wonderful HydroSteam technology. It lifted the sauce out of the rug so we'll that I think the rug looked even nicer after the spill was cleaned. I also really like the color schemed thay Bissel is going with lately. They are very complimentary and the tools provided with the cleaner are actually really easy and efficient to use especially when doing light cleaning on my amber yellow couch. That couch is just light enough that it picks up stains fairly easily and this machine has already come in handy a couple of times for just that reason. If I was asked for a recommendation for a solid home use carpet cleaner, this would be the one id recommend.

I have two dogs in my house and had several areas that needed some attention and the Hydrosteam did the trick with ease! It was also very easy to put together and a breeze to clean. I used the handheld feature for some small furniture and it worked wonderful for that as well. All stains are gone and things look almost new. I would certainly recommend this product for anyone in search of a new carpet cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handheld attachments will provide go amount of cleaning solution to surfaces but they have Absolutly no suction to help remove any of the solution forcing you to wait 18-24 hours to dry if you are unable to place them outside in a warm environment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely impressed with this machine from start to finish It made my entire cleaning routine faster and much more efficient The design is sleek and modern and I appreciated how easy it was to move around even in tighter spaces The HydroSteam Technology was a game changer for tackling tough sticky messes especially on high traffic carpeted areas and my kids playroom rug It cut through dried on stains and grime with ease leaving the fibers refreshed and looking like new I used it on a mix of messes including muddy footprints juice spills and even pet accidents and it handled them all effortlessly The built in Pretreater feature was also incredibly helpful I liked being able to target stubborn stains before deep cleaning without needing extra tools or spray bottles It definitely made a difference on older spots that I had struggled with using other machines Lastly the two in one self cleaning tool was super convenient I used it to clean the stairs couch cushions and even my dogs bed and it worked beautifully It felt like a complete deep cleaning system in one machine and the fact that it helps clean itself was a nice bonus I highly recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and features the carpet cleaner does. I have the matching vacume of it. My favorite is that it can steam and sanitize. It's very easy to use but I don't feel that it sucks the water up well. The top is heavy and the bottom is not. I've had to put pressure with my foot to have it suck up water. I put water down going forward then will run at least two passes just sucking up water. I can then put pressure with my foot and it will suck up more water than it did in those two passes. Also the number one reason I do not like it. The smell. It smells moldy. I keep it in my laundry room in my house. There is rubber seals on the containers you put clean and dirty water in. Mine smells moldy after the 1st use. It's very strange.the smell will not go away. Everytime I use it you can smell it in entire house. I thought it was the bristles. But it's not. I leave everything to dry on a towel on my counter and it still smells. I expected more out of product for how much I spent. It does get stains out well and it beautiful. The steam part is the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product. So much that I keep offering to bring it to my friends house to use because it is so satisfying. The machine is solidly built and has has weight and power to to feel study and handle large areas and do a good job but was not too heavy to limit use I don’t know that I gave the pretreat option enough time to see the difference between that and just the normal mode. But it did a great job of cleaning my carpet which hasn’t been cleaned in ten years (other than spot treating and vacuuming) I struggled a bit the first few times to get the hand piece to spray liquid - but once it did - it worked great. The before and after pictures of my couch I included don’t do it justice. My couch was dingy from my son wiping his hands on it. I was considering getting a cover or replacing the couch but now I don’t have to. I used multiple passes with the machine and in areas with stains I did use the hand piece a few times just to save time.
