We use this booster seat for our 6 year old daughter. She really enjoys how much space she has in it. I enjoy how lightweight it is and how easy it easy to install. My mother had to use the booster seat, so we converted to the backless booster seat option. It was quite simple to do and my daughter was excited to only have to sit in the bottom portion. She felt like such a big kid. We were ok with it too because it is Graco and it is safe. Overall this is a booster seat that I would recommend as it is an affordable price, it’s lightweight, and easy to install.

It is a very simple, sleek design that I appreciate, making it blend into most car interiors and easy to clean. Installing it was easy, just loosen the front adjusters clip it into your LATCH system and tighten it up again. I also like that it converts to a backless model once we get to that point. My son loved the freedom he felt sitting in it, coming from a 5 point harness, it is very roomy and comfortable. It’s also very light (when I picked up the box off my porch I was surprised!) and therefore easy to travel with and move between cars. There are a few downsides, however. I do think this is more for an older or bigger kid. My 5 year old is average height and weight and it is sadly too big for him right now. He likes how it feels, so we are excited to use it regularly once he’s older! The other downside is the belt slipping out of the thread, as other reviewers mentioned. All said, we are happy with the seat and look forward to using it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This booster seat came in 3 pieces. Using the instruction manual, the assembly was quick , easy, and very straightforward. Installing the seat in the car was also outlined in the manual, and was very simple using the LATCH system. The front-adjust button was very easy and made the install so fast. As the seat is very lightweight, it would be a very easy seat to move between vehicles or to different spaces within the car. The design is very simplistic and undistracted. The focus is definitely on safety, with a few pieces of padding for comfort. It fit my 52-lb, 49" 6-year-old very comfortably. The adjustable headrest was simple to use in order to fit the height of my child, and the seatbelt holder positioned the seatbelt right where it needed to be on his shoulder. For his height, the backless option was not a good fit, as the seatbelt would not stay in the correct position. My child thought the seat was very comfortable and was excited about the stowable cup holders. For long-term use, I see the placement of the cupholders being possibly problematic for potential spills, but they are a nice feature for a careful occupant. The seat was a little snug near the buckle for the seatbelt, so my child had a bit of a hard time reaching down to buckle the seatbelt. I do think this will get easier with time and practice. I always prefer options that grow with the child and fit various needs, rather than only meeting a single use for a short period of time. I appreciated the long-term use the seat provides, along with multiple options to suit the potential for multiple children over many years. With its lightweight design and easy-to-use LATCH system, this is an easy choice for parents of growing kids. I will say this particular seat is easy to install, has neutral colors, and has the cup holders that fold in, which we love. However, my knock is the durability. This seat does feel a bit flimsy on the back and I think that is more common with boosters that can transition to being backless. For the price point of this seat, I think the quality fits. We have other seats that feel more durable but they are easily twice the cost. I plan to continue using this booster as a back up for play date friends, babysitters, grandparents, etc. I would recommend this seat to other parents as a good option for a lower point and for those that want to be able to transition the same booster seat to a backless booster seat. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco Turbobooster Extend 2-in-1 Booster is a mostly great seat with one flaw that stands out. There are quite a few positives - it was super easy to assemble out of the box, and installation with the LATCH system was a breeze. The headrest is easily adjustable, the seat fits nicely in my mid-sized SUV and my daughter is comfortable in it. The one main downside that I’ve noticed is that the shoulder seatbelt pops out of the belt guide really easily. I find myself having to re-thread it through the belt guide every time my daughter gets into the car, which is frustrating because I’d prefer her to be able to get in and buckle herself fully independently. My 6 year old’s favorite feature of this booster is the cupholders. She has a large stainless steel water bottle that didn’t fit in her previous carseat’s cupholders - but it fits in these! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive the Graco Turbobooster extend 2 in 1 booster from the Stellar Product Testing Panel that when it arrived I opened it immediately. However, upon opening it I was extremely disappointed. The back of the seat feels like it will break just by leaning against it. I was just involved in an accident where I had all of my kids in the van. I was t-boned and was so grateful for the booster and car seats that my kiddos were buckled into. Putting this booster seat together I don’t feel like it would withstand any type of accident. When I put the booster seat in the car I was confused that there is no top tether strap. I searched everywhere and read the instructions but couldn’t find it or couldn’t find it talked about anywhere. So the back of the booster sits against the seat of the car not strapped on. The one promising thing about this booster seat has is the front latch. I really did appreciate that. So many times I’m searching around the side of a car seat trying to pull the latch strap tight and it is hard to get a good angle. With the front latch system you can easily latch and then pull the strap right in front, very helpful and honestly the only thing good about this booster seat. My 8 year old sat in the booster seat for 1 week and thought it was pretty uncomfortable. It looks sleek and I like the coloring of the fabric but ultimately I wouldn’t recommend this seat to anyone. Maybe I am being more critical because of my recent accident but it doesn’t feel sturdy and safe if I were to get in an accident.

The booster is fairly compact with a sleek design. For my 7 year old the seat pan is a bit shallow and in my suv I have room to spare but I imagine in a smaller car the low profile would be perfect and he says it’s plenty comfortable! I love the adjustable headrest and the fact that once we’re ready to remove the high back I won’t have to purchase another chair - I can just remove the back with a literal “snap.” The best part of the booster by far was the easy install! The front adjust system made this the first booster I felt confident installing without my partner having to pull to make it tight against the seat. I do wish there were latch for over the back of the seat but overall very happy with the ability to use the LATCH system to make it secure.

I currently use a very similar 2-in-1 booster seat of a different brand. The design of this booster is pretty simple, sleek and very lightweight. Assembly was very quick and easy and the instructions easy to read. My daughter (7) has plenty of space in this seat and likes the comfort of the seat. She found it just as comfortable as her current seat. To me, the booster section of the seat felt a bit firmer than the other brand’s seat, but my daughter couldn’t tell the difference. The adjustable headrest is very easy to use and my daughter liked being able to rest her head on the side panels of the headrest. The front-adjust LATCH system is very similar to the one we currently have. The clips for attaching the seat to the car’s anchors are easy enough to use as long as the anchors are easy to access. We tried the seat in our car as well as in a hire car. In our car, the anchors are hidden in the seat cushions and you can only access them by feel. That made it harder to attach the hooks, since you had to try and guess where to push down. In our hire car, the anchors stuck out quite a bit and it was a breeze to attach the hooks. It is fairly easy to tighten the straps to secure the seat and the release button is also very easy to use. We had an opportunity to travel with this seat and we chose to leave the back part of the seat at home. The seat part of the booster is very light and easy to travel with and was easy to move from car to car. The thing I liked most about this booster seat is that it gave us more space in the car, since the cup holders can retract. My daughter also felt like that was a pretty cool feature. Compared to our existing booster seat, the Graco Turbobooster Extend feels like it’s a lower cost, but well thought out option for people who are on a budget and not fussed about fancy gadgets. For example, the hooks that attach the seat to the anchors, as well as the plastic release button are pretty basic compared to the ones on our other seat and the material used for the seat cover is a bit more synthetic than I would usually go for. Overall, it’s a good seat that my daughter approves of and I would recommend it for someone looking for a lightweight, comfortable, easy to use 2-in-1 booster seat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco Turbobooster Extend 2-in-1 Booster Seat is the first true booster that my family has used - the other converted from rear and forward facing five point harness to booster. The Turbobooster is much more lightweight and therefore easier to move from one car to the other. It’s super easy to install, and I love that it includes LATCH connections. The adjustable headrest is easy to raise/lower and the hide-away cupholders are very convenient. I found that changing it between high-back booster and backless booster is a simple, user-friendly process. My child finds the seat quite comfortable and has no problems properly buckling in.
