Light weight and great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This booster seat is very spacious as the shoulder area allows tons of room. My daughter is 7 and finds it very comfortable and with plenty of room to spare for growth. It is wider at the top so it may not fit well in a smaller vehicle if you need to do 3 across but if you have the room in your vehicle, I would recommend this one to keep your kiddo comfortable for many years! The cup holders can be in or out, which could make 3 across more possible. My favorite feature on this seat is the front-adjust LATCH system. This allows the seat to not become a projectile in an accident. It is so easy to use. You just clip it to the lower anchors in your vehicle, and pull the straps from the front to tighten them. Being able to pull from the front is a game changer. It is also very easy to adjust this car seat because of the adjustable headrest. This seat is so easy to assemble and disassemble. Converting it to a backless booster is very easy as it just snaps together. I would also like to add that it is very light weight and easy to move from one vehicle to another. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone with a booster aged kid. Thank you, Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me review this product.

A Booster Seat That Makes Everyone Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a mom, I was really impressed with this 2-in-1 booster seat. It has a sleek and modern look that's both stylish and functional. I like how grown-up it looks, which is perfect for older kids who might feel self-conscious about being in a "baby" seat. It looks smart and almost elegant because it doesn't have a lot of extra, showy elements. One of the most noticeable things about this booster seat is how much more room it seems to create in the car. It feels like there's so much more space, which is a big plus for both my daughter and other passengers. My daughter found it quite comfortable, with nice padding that provides good support for long car rides. The front-adjust LATCH system is super simple to use - just snap in and pull tight. It's quick and effortless, which is a huge time-saver. The adjustable headrest is another great feature, though it's worth noting that it's really more of a back-of-the-head rest rather than something to lean on. It's easy to adjust as my daughter grows, ensuring proper positioning and safety at all times. I like that this seat can convert into a backless booster. The conversion process is also incredibly simple - just click, click, and you're done. This ease of use is a big plus. It's lightweight and easy to put together, which I absolutely love. My daughter really likes this booster seat because she has more freedom and movement with her legs. Interestingly, she mentioned that she doesn't like being held in more securely by the regular seatbelt, which is something to keep in mind. She says it's quite comfy overall, which is great to hear from the person who actually sits in it! The only negative I can think of is that since it's not a full car seat, it's not as safe as a traditional car seat. However, I realize this is partly because my daughter is growing up and will be out of a car seat entirely sooner rather than later. Overall, this booster seat has been a great addition to our car. It's comfortable, easy to use, and will last us for years to come. While it may not offer the same level of protection as a full car seat, it's an appropriate choice for older children who are ready for more independence but still need some extra support. I would recommend it to other parents looking for a reliable and practical booster seat solution for their growing children.

Graco Booster Seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This Graco booster seat is great! I love the fact that it has LATCH anchors. It makes me feel like the seat is more secure. The assembly was super easy and the adjustable back height is perfect. I have had Turbobooster models before and the are well made and easy to figure out. I appreciate that they are simple to adjust and and the direction are really straightforward. Overall, I love this booster seat!

Simple and easy to use booster seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This booster seat came in 3 pieces. Using the instruction manual, the assembly was quick , easy, and very straightforward. Installing the seat in the car was also outlined in the manual, and was very simple using the LATCH system. The front-adjust button was very easy and made the install so fast. As the seat is very lightweight, it would be a very easy seat to move between vehicles or to different spaces within the car. The design is very simplistic and undistracted. The focus is definitely on safety, with a few pieces of padding for comfort. It fit my 52-lb, 49" 6-year-old very comfortably. The adjustable headrest was simple to use in order to fit the height of my child, and the seatbelt holder positioned the seatbelt right where it needed to be on his shoulder. For his height, the backless option was not a good fit, as the seatbelt would not stay in the correct position. My child thought the seat was very comfortable and was excited about the stowable cup holders. For long-term use, I see the placement of the cupholders being possibly problematic for potential spills, but they are a nice feature for a careful occupant. The seat was a little snug near the buckle for the seatbelt, so my child had a bit of a hard time reaching down to buckle the seatbelt. I do think this will get easier with time and practice. I always prefer options that grow with the child and fit various needs, rather than only meeting a single use for a short period of time. I appreciated the long-term use the seat provides, along with multiple options to suit the potential for multiple children over many years. With its lightweight design and easy-to-use LATCH system, this is an easy choice for parents of growing kids. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and would definitely recommend it for other parents!

Easy to use but best for older kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Graco Turbobooster Extend 2in1 Booster for testing through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We loved that the installation was the easiest of any car seat or booster seat we have tried. It will make for a great booster seat for grandparents and babysitters to use on local adventures to avoid having to move a bulkier seat back and forth. It is light weight and spacious. Safety-wise the lap belt was easy to secure in the proper positioning while still being comfortable for our child. Unfortunately, it was too spacious for our almost 50 lb 5 year old. He was comfortable, but prefers the increased security he feels from his bulkier 3in1 high back booster on longer rides. We think this would be most comfortable for ages 7 and up. Overall, it's a well designed, easy-to-install booster seat that is best suited for older children or children on the upper end of the weight limit. It provides safe, comfortable positioning for the lap belt at a great value, especially if serving as a spare carseat for extended family or babysitters

A good basic seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco Turbobooster Extend 2-in-1 seat was good for us. It’s a very basic, light weight convertible booster that’s gets the job done. It came in 3 parts and was very easy to put together and adjust the headrest to the appropriate height. The fabric is soft and the design is simple. I think it would look great in any car (if aesthetics matter to you). I will always be a fan of convertible seats in general, as they grow with your kids. The seat was nice and wide and gave my 6 year old plenty of space to get comfortable. I was able to let my 8 year old use the seat in backless mode and he too thought it was plenty comfortable. It was easy to disassemble the back and stow it away. I really appreciated the pullout cup holders on both sides of the seat. One of my biggest gripes about other seats is that the cup holders are always out and usually in the way. This way they can be stowed when there’s no drinks. I also like the front adjustable LATCH straps. That really did make it so much easier to secure the seat. While it doesn’t have the Wow factor that some other seats may have, I think this is a solid, cost effective seat that will last you a good while. Thank you so much to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me the chance to test this booster seat!

Easy to install but one main flaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco Turbobooster Extend 2-in-1 Booster is a mostly great seat with one flaw that stands out. There are quite a few positives - it was super easy to assemble out of the box, and installation with the LATCH system was a breeze. The headrest is easily adjustable, the seat fits nicely in my mid-sized SUV and my daughter is comfortable in it. The one main downside that I’ve noticed is that the shoulder seatbelt pops out of the belt guide really easily. I find myself having to re-thread it through the belt guide every time my daughter gets into the car, which is frustrating because I’d prefer her to be able to get in and buckle herself fully independently. My 6 year old’s favorite feature of this booster is the cupholders. She has a large stainless steel water bottle that didn’t fit in her previous carseat’s cupholders - but it fits in these! If it wasn’t for the shoulder belt constantly popping out of the belt guide I would really love this booster. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this booster seat.

Great seat for older kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this booster seat. It is a very simple, sleek design that I appreciate, making it blend into most car interiors and easy to clean. Installing it was easy, just loosen the front adjusters clip it into your LATCH system and tighten it up again. I also like that it converts to a backless model once we get to that point. My son loved the freedom he felt sitting in it, coming from a 5 point harness, it is very roomy and comfortable. It’s also very light (when I picked up the box off my porch I was surprised!) and therefore easy to travel with and move between cars. There are a few downsides, however. I do think this is more for an older or bigger kid. My 5 year old is average height and weight and it is sadly too big for him right now. He likes how it feels, so we are excited to use it regularly once he’s older! The other downside is the belt slipping out of the thread, as other reviewers mentioned. All said, we are happy with the seat and look forward to using it!

Great as a Backless Booster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. All opinions are my own. We just returned from a family road trip, which was roughly four hours each way. My son, who is 7 years old, road in this booster and helped by giving me his opinion for this review. I’ll start with the parent point-of-view: the booster seat was easy to assemble out of the box and easy to install in the vehicle. I appreciate the front-adjust LATCH system because it makes securing the booster in the vehicle both safe & convenient. I own a midsize SUV and the booster fit in the captain’s chair with plenty of room to spare. Now, from my son’s point-of-view: this booster was very uncomfortable. He gave it an F. He said that in the high-back position it did not feel good on his back. No matter how comfy the headrest is, it wasn’t enough for him to give the booster a passing grade. Thankfully, the booster is easy to convert to remove the back so he can ride backless. He did like this position and we will continue to use the Graco Turbobooster Extend as a backless booster seat.

Felt Flimsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive the Graco Turbobooster extend 2 in 1 booster from the Stellar Product Testing Panel that when it arrived I opened it immediately. However, upon opening it I was extremely disappointed. The back of the seat feels like it will break just by leaning against it. I was just involved in an accident where I had all of my kids in the van. I was t-boned and was so grateful for the booster and car seats that my kiddos were buckled into. Putting this booster seat together I don’t feel like it would withstand any type of accident. When I put the booster seat in the car I was confused that there is no top tether strap. I searched everywhere and read the instructions but couldn’t find it or couldn’t find it talked about anywhere. So the back of the booster sits against the seat of the car not strapped on. The one promising thing about this booster seat has is the front latch. I really did appreciate that. So many times I’m searching around the side of a car seat trying to pull the latch strap tight and it is hard to get a good angle. With the front latch system you can easily latch and then pull the strap right in front, very helpful and honestly the only thing good about this booster seat. My 8 year old sat in the booster seat for 1 week and thought it was pretty uncomfortable. It looks sleek and I like the coloring of the fabric but ultimately I wouldn’t recommend this seat to anyone. Maybe I am being more critical because of my recent accident but it doesn’t feel sturdy and safe if I were to get in an accident.
