Seeing the possibilities of this pillow during road trips or plane flights, I decided to buy it but found it to be lacking comfort. The material seemed to be more rigid than what I've found in the Comfort Travel Pillow and being a big man with a big neck, the inflexibility felt like it was hurting circulation in my neck. I tried streching it out but it went back. I'd recommend the Comfort Pillow Travel or the All-Purpose Pillow if you're looking for Tempur-Pedic on the go.

Bought this travel pillow and now my kids fight over it as well. Nothing else can compare to the feel and the support you will get for your neck. Definitely buying more for the family!

A Suggestion for Tempur-Pedic: Add a snap or button where the end's of the U meet at your throat. This would make it much more ergonomically friendly and more comfortable for sleeping in a air while traveling or kicking back watching television.

I love the pillow! It's ultra supportive and comfortable! However, it's good only until I wash the pillow case. I follow the instruction and drop it to machine wash with cold water and then hang dry. Then the pillow can never go back to the pillow case! I call the customer service rep and i cannot receive warranty because I'm not the purchaser (I got this as a Christmas gift.) When I try to order the pillow case replacement, no, they don't sell the pillow case separately! So now I can do nothing with the great pillow. Lesson learned - Do NOT wash it.

About my first neck pillow at an airport in 2004 and I use it nightly until this year when I decided to buy two neck pillows, one for me and one for my husband. I wash the pillow cover once a week and the pillow itself once a month since 2004. The two foam pieces of the pillow have not changed from being washed in the washing machine whereas the covers have worn thin but are still complete. I will be handing down the pillow from 2004 to my granddaughter who has taking it away from me to use it to sleep with when I go see her since she was born. The best pillow ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect travel pillow to bring in the car, train, bus or plane! It is more firm than other travel pillows I have used in the past. Normally they are very flimsy and I cannot get comfortable. This pillow helps support your neck and head and keeps it upright.

This pillow is fantastic. HOWEVER, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it until Tempur-pedic puts a button or snap (preferably a button because they're serviceable) on the two legs of the U-shape. As it is now, I have to pack it INSIDE my suitcase, taking up valuable space. With a button, one could attach it TO his or her suitcase, around a strap or whatever. If Tempur-pedic puts a button on the end, I will buy one for everyone in my family, and probably a new one for myself.

I have a problem with the cartledge of my ear. when laying in the sleeping position on my side the pressure on my ear causes small corn like nodules to form on my cartledgewhich are VERY Painful. I went to see my consultant who had previously cut these nodules out for me but this time he didn`t want to do it as he said I would end up with half an ear. So instead he froze the nodule and suggested I use a neck pillow to relieve the pressure on my ear.Well I tried various neck pillows to no avail, then quite by chance I came accross your tempura neck pillow/travel pillow but instead of using it ROUND my neck I lay on it flat (like an upside down horse shoe)with my head on the two sides and my ear through the hole in the middle,RESULT :- A perfect nights sleep with no pressure on my ear ,the nodules have gone and I am so HAPPY no pain!!My only problem now is as it is BLACK and I use it in my bedroom I would love to know where I can get a couple of soft feminine covers for it.DO YOU BY ANY CHANCE MAKE THEM> Yours sincerely, Jan Forest.
