I purchased this travel pillow prior to my posterior cervical decompression and fusion C2-T1 surgery after reading reviews. The firmness is perfect to control my neck/ head. I am 4 weeks post-op and could not have made it without this travel pillow!! I knew that my neurosurgeon did not order a hard cervical collar post-op. This travel pillow has been perfect to sleep in and when pain is mounting. For 6 weeks where I can not bend, turn, or twist my neck, this pillow is just what I need!! This was truly a great investment!!

I like the Tempur-Pedic travel pillow for its firm, supportive feel—it keeps my neck stable and doesn’t lose shape during long trips. It’s compact and well made, though it can feel warm and may be too firm for some. Overall, a dependable option if you want support over softness.

She has come to rely solely on it for being able to find some relief for her neck pain. She has had back issues and severe neck pain since her teen years, due to her spinal formation. After, then, being injured in an automobile accident, she found it impossible to find any comfort at all. The original pillow has been a lifesaver, and each year she relies on getting a new one, which I gladly purchase for her. There are similar configurations of neck pillows out there, but none of them can come close to doing what this one does. Please, never stop manufacturing Tempur-Pedic travel pillows. God bless.

After many flights of either not being able to rest at all, or waking up with a massive neck ache, I'm so glad I finally bought tempurpedic's travel pillow. I can't take my entire tempurperdic bed with me, but having a pillow really helps! Kinda wish it had somewhere to clip it to a bag, but it's so comfortable and soft, it's a minor downside.

This is our second iteration. I use the pillow nightly as it helps with neck pain. A lifesaver that aids in a good night's rest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It gives great support but too bad there is no strap to fold it tightly together or a snap to close the openings. It would make more sense instead of trying to figure out how in the world you are going to carry this pillow through the airport without loosing it.

To be clear: this is the exact same material as the full-sized pillow that I love and keeps me pain free (hence three stars). That said, the half-sized travel pillow is a nightmare if you roll back and forth, even just a few times, when you sleep. Your head literally falls off the pillow because of its firm, squared-off design. If you remain stationary while you sleep, it would be fabulous. But I don't and thought it was worth a try since I travel a lot. Alas, it did not work for me.

I use this pillow everyday and after one week the middle is creasing. 20 years ago I purchased 2 pillows and they each lasted 10 years. This current pillow will last 1 or 2 years. It is very sad they changed the formula of the foam. I wish I could purchase several hard pillows like formula of 20 years ago.

This travel cradles your neck and feels like it’s choking you because it’s too small and too short. The old version of this pillow was perfect and should still be available, this one is only for small necks.

I should have listened to the many other negative reviews in regard to the sizing of this product. This neck pillow is not made for teens or adults. It’s entirely too small & uncomfortable. Buyer Beware: they won’t let you return or exchange for something else either. I bought 2 of these stinkers!!
