I got this to travel with on planes and it's been great! I have yet to try it for a neck pillow laying down and mostly as a lumbar but I'm sure it'll be wonderful as that too. I look forward to seeing a type for sitting on hard chairs

I got the pillow on my chiropractor's advice and am very glad I did. I no longer sleep on my side, smashing my shoulder and waking with more tension than before sleep. This pillow also travels very well so no matter where I am, I can sleep soundly and healthily, waking up feeling beautiful!

I bought this as a present for my bf because he has neck problems and the pillow was just too hard for him. I tried to use it instead and it also didn't work for me. Really wish I could return it bc it was relatively expensive for something we won't be using.

I bought this to use as a knee pillow, but it doesn't really work for me. I imagine this peanut pillow has other uses, just not what I bought it for. I wouldn't recommend buying this pillow if you plan on using it as a knee pillow.

At first I planned to use it for general body support at night but discovered it was perfect under my neck to alleviate occasional pain. Now I sleep with it under my neck each night and get a more restful sleep. I've given it as a gift to family members who also use it nightly. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this pillow to use in-flights, support neck. Also I tried to use in the office when I sat on the chair to support my lower back. The pillow is not to hard, not to soft well support both part. I tried to use to support my neck on the recliner chair, too. It was good too. But I am not recommend this for on a bed.

I initially brought what we call "the peanut pillow" about fifteen years ago. My chiropractor said het husband had one and used it all the time. My old one is still good but my husband kept borrowing it to give his head a boost while watching TV in bed. So I just purchased two môre. I use it for sleep in bed. It holds my head in a position that is very comfortable and prevented neck or shoulder aches. I highly recommend this multi-purpose pillow!

I have been sleeping on a tempurpedic mattress and using a tempurpedic neck pillow for more than 20 years. I have not tried the peanut pillow for sleeping yet, but I will the next time I go on vacation.

I use this to support my neck as a side sleeper and also on my stomach. It is small and malleable and stays where I put it when I set myself up carefully to sleep in a good position, sometimes wearing my apnea mask. Must sleep on side because of apnea and cannot always sleep on side because of sciatica. I am a small person with s short neck so I need a versatile small product. I would buy one that is the same only thinner. This latest purchase is to be sure I have a back up. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had cervical spine surgery and while I am grateful for the main issue to have been repaired, one of the permanent side effects is pretty severe neck pain. That is just how it is and I have been looking for something to help relieve that pain when I am traveling, setting, laying or just living life in places other than my very structured to me and my issues home (that was non medication related) and I found it in this pillow. I am seriously never without it. This pillow is firm but not hard. It has the right shape so I can use it in many different positions, and still get relief (laying with it between my neck and arm; sitting with it between my neck and the chair; using it between my neck and head on the side as a rest...). It compresses the potions I need it to and then "refills" in the space so I get a nice full support no matter the position. I also love that it is firm enough that I can use this during my PT appointments for when I am having pain but still needing to get thought my stretches/exercises but also needing that extra support. I really cannot say enough about this pillow. If it wasn't so out of my budget, I would buy 5 more of these and never have to worry about life without one again. This is my prized possession now and I cannot tell you how much it has helped with the relief of pain. Every bit of pain relief matters and this pillow has mattered a lot for that issue.
