My previous pillow started to grow soft and provided less support, necessitating a new pillow search. I'm a side sleeper and needed a low to medium height pillow. The height of this pillow is about half an inch shorter than ideal, but the quality of the foam and the foam being one solid piece, and the perfect degree of mild to moderate softness provides good support. However, the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that this pillow has an overall smaller size than a normal pillow (standard pillow cases will be a little looser fitting), and is not symmetrical front to back (one side has diagonal cuts towards the center of the pillow, presumably to make it more comfortable to lay one's head down accounting for shoulder position) -- the pillow has a shape like a trapezoid rather than a rectangle. Otherwise, very happy with this pillow.

The slope of the edge is slightly more steep on one side, so the pillow can be flipped over to accommodate different body shapes and sizes. I have these on my bed at home and bought another to keep at my parents house for holiday visits. Just wish it came in a packable size for my work travel!

I was having back and neck pain because I had a really old pillow. I was recommended the Symphony by a friend of mine who has slept on an older model for 5+ years and absolutely loves it. Whether a pillow will be good for you as an individual is hard to gauge just through online descriptions/without trying it for a few weeks (or even more). I have had it for a few months now and I am happy with it! Though I am not as in love with it as my friend is (I am a side sleeper and it's a bit firm for my taste), it has totally fixed my pain and I think my neck appreciates the support even if I don't love the feel initially. One pillow isn't going to be perfect for everyone but my guess is that the Symphony will work for almost anyone.

Now that we're spoiled, we just wish it could magically travel with us to every hotel and guest house we stay in.

I have owned a pillow for 20+ years. I hated to part with it but it literally was on its last leg. I check the website and found the symphony pillow which was 90% the same as what I had for so many years. Unfortunately, once I slept on it I found out that it was not the same. The new design is way too soft and my head sinks down in it after just a few minutes. My previous one was a medium and I wish I could find that one again.

I purchased a Tempur-Pedic Cloud Elite mattress about three months and I have been waking up with neck and shoulder pain. I went back to the store and talked to the salesman because I thought it might be the bed. He suggested I try the Symphony pillow after explaining the one side for back and the other for side sleeping. The first night I tried it I woke up with hardly any pain. Within a couple of days no pain at all! I would highly recommend this pillow.

It has cut down on the continuous tossing and turning I would do with a conventional pillow. I couldn't use it. However my boyfriend loves it and it fits him well. I generally don't like thick pillows so it also could be a personal preference. As far as quality this is very nice and will last a long time
