Tempur-pedic symphony pillow is amazing. It got rid of my neck and shoulder pain and I stay sleeping longer. And I feel like I got a good nights rest. If you have normal-to-broad shoulders and sleep on your side, this is probably the pillow you want. It's not a soft pillow by any means but it will soften up enough to be comfortable over time. What you're getting here is a firm pillow that retains its shape night after night. The good thing is it has 2 different firmness settings by simply by turning the pillow over. So those with normal width shoulders who sleep on their side will want to use one side while those with broad shoulders would do better by flipping the pillow to the other side. It would be great if the pillow was as soft as a goose-down but what you give up in softness you gain in firmness and a good night's sleep. Expect to wake up from your first night's sleep with a little stiffness in your neck as the pillow you were using before this is almost assuredly more forgiving and not as firm. However after a night or two, your body will adapt and you'll have a pillow that's the correct thickness/firmness for what you need.

This is my 2nd favorite tempurpedic pillow. I like to lay on this one when I am watching tv in bed. I usually like to sleep on the tempurpedic neck pillow, but sometimes I use this one. I have a very bad neck and some nights this one is better than the neck pillow. This pillow works well for side and back sleepers.

This pillow did help support my neck after a neck injury however it was much firmer than I expected and it took a very long time to break in. After a few months it was finally broken in and feels much better, I just wish it wasn't so heavy. I would recommend to anyone who wakes up with neck pain from using the average non tempurpedic pillow.

I just couldn't get comfortable sleeping on this oddly shaped pillow. Perhaps it is because it is made for sleeping on your side and when flipped over it is made for sleeping on your back. I sleep both ways and don't feel like flipping a pillow in the middle of the night. Can't be too critical, however, because my son loves it! I would go for the comfort pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a slide sleeper and have been using this pillow for almost 2 years. It provides excellent support and is very comfortable. The slope of the edge is slightly more steep on one side, so the pillow can be flipped over to accommodate different body shapes and sizes. I have these on my bed at home and bought another to keep at my parents house for holiday visits. Just wish it came in a packable size for my work travel!

Very comfortable, shapes to my head and how I'm sleeping, that is, on my stomach or side. Have recommended to family and when they've slept on it, they've enjoyed it as well.
