Good materials, not soft enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The symphony pillow is described at soft, but I found it still too hard for my comfort. I am a lightweight female and my head hardly made a dent in this pillow on either side. I liked the option of two different feels on each side though. I would choose extra soft next time.

Best pillow ever!!!

This is my second time buying this pillow--I first bought it several years ago and it's the best pillow I've ever had!! The only reason I'm buying it now is because the original has gotten a little less supportive in the last few months. I went with the exact same pillow because I love it so much, and trying any other pillow would be a gamble. I even take it with me when I travel, even though it's on the heavy side, because I can't get a good night's sleep in a hotel otherwise! For years, I struggled to find a comfortable pillow, and I have bought several different types of pillows, including ergonomic ones and adjustable ones. I used to keep a small assortment of them by my bed, in case I couldn't get comfortable using my original choice of pillow. Sometimes I would end up tossing them all aside in favor of no pillow at all. I am both a tummy and side sleeper, and I sometimes sleep on my back. This pillow is supportive and comfortable in all of those positions. I had never considered an expensive pillow, but I decided to try this one out of desperation several years ago. Best $$ I ever spent!! Hopefully Tempur-pedic will continue making this pillow forever, because I don't know what I would do without it! I have NEVER chosen another pillow (or no pillow) over the Tempur-Symphony pillow...it's just that comfortable. I have not one bad thing to say about it. I love this pillow!!

Major pain relief

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have suffered with shoulder and neck pain for years. I have finally found relief with my tempurpedic pillow. I love that I can turn it over for different sleeping positions. I cannot even put a number on the pillows I have purchased trying to find one that didn't make me toss and turn every night. Incredibly happy with my tempurpedic purchase.

Firm but comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The symphony pillow was not as soft as I expected it to be when I first got it, but over time I got used to the "hugging" feel. Now when trying other pillows it feels like there is no substance to them and ultimately no comfort. These were an impulse buy for me, but I can't help but recommend them to people.

Product Review

The Symphony pillow is a great pillow. The overall design is great, and I really like the contoured edge. It really cushions and supports the head and neck. The only downside to this pillow is the height...at about 5.5" inches it's too tall for a back and stomach sleeper. It's absolutely perfect for a side sleeper. Unfortunately I like to move around quite a bit at night and will wake up in all positions - stomach, back and side. If this pillow lost approximately 1" or 1.5" in height then it would be perfect!! I really do like the tempur material. It took a few days to get used to it, but now that I'm used to it I don't think I want to go back to anything else :) Here is my suggestion for the perfect pillow -- Combine the height and shoulder region of the Suprima with the standard shape and countoured edges of the Symphony pillow and you will have a perfect pillow!!! Tempur-pedic please think about that one :)

Not good for side or back sleeping.

This pillow is not good for sleeping on your side, or your back. The wedge shape does not work as good as you would imagine for sleepign on your side; the wedge is thin and once the material compresses its basically way too thin and theres not enough support. For sleepign on your back, the pillow can be flipped over, but it's no good for sleeping on your back either. If you look at the pillow, imagine sleeping on your back, with your neck and the back of your head on the rounded side. The pillow is kind of like a hill top. It's not comfortable, it will slide out from beneath your neck, or it will feel like your neck is sliding down it. It's REALLY annoying having to flip this pillow over all the time too. I can't stand it. Not good for back or neck sleeping. I am going to try the Neck Pillow this time instead, since they have a sizing chart.

Comfortable

Oh my god I have never slept better. I'm 67 years old and now I am having the best sleep I have had in years. I purchased to pillows along with a full size bed topper, what was I thinking I should have done this years ago. I will most definitely buy again when needed in the future. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND THE GREAT PRODUCTS

Game changer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a sleep consultant, I am total "sleep snob". I am the biggest advocate of high quality sleep products since we spend 1/3 of our lives in bed. I have a Tempurpedic Cloud mattress and Tempurpedic Symphony pillows and I will never sway. My husband and I dread sleeping away from home / our bed. We used to struggle with aches and pains due to our old mattress and it impacted our sleep every night. We were exhausted, irritable, snappy with each other, and our overall quality of life was declining. Then we made the best investment by purchasing this bed set and I now recommend the Tempurpedic brand to all of my clients.

I HAVE OSTEOARTHRITIS AND THE PILLOWS I WAS USING WERE NOT SUPPORTING MY NECK AND SHOULDERS. MY DOCTOR SUGGESTED A PILLOW CHANGE TO ADD SUPPORT MY NECK. I WENT TO A TEMPUR DEALER AND BORROWED A SYMPHONY PILLOW FOR ONE NIGHT. THE SYMPHONY PILLOW , USING THE BACK SLEEPER SIDE , MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WAY MY NECK AND SHOULDERS FELT THE NEXT MORNING.I HAVE NOW PURCHASED 2 SYMPHONY PILLOWS, A QUEEN SIZE FOR THE BED AND A STANDARD FOR OVERNITE STAYS.

Firm for only three months
3 out of 5 stars review

No longer firm after three months

I bought two Symphony pillows about three months ago and rotate between the two every few weeks. At first I loved them! It supported my neck and I was finally getting a great night sleep without waking up with a headache! I've noticed that both pillows have already lost the firmness already. I flip them over so that one area doesn't get overused but it's still the same. For the quality I expected, I'm disappointed that they didn't stay firm for more than a few months.
