[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can definitely smell the mint when you open the package! At first, our fur baby just smelled it, and after that, she started chewing on it. She must like them because she wanted another one. Her breath smells like mint. On the package, it says for her weight (70lbs) she can have up to 14 of these a day. That is more than I am comfortable giving her. So I guess use your best judgment for your dog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the bag, these treats smell very strongly of herbs and peppermint, like a stick of gum. They are also a very strange consistency… like a hard and chewy spongey cheese puff that was left out for a week. My dog was very reluctant to eat it because of the strong peppermint smell. He eventually did, but only because I called it a treat. The recommended amount for a 50 pound dog is 14 treat daily, so I can’t imagine these would be very cost effective long-term. It did mildly mask his horrible breath for a little while, but I definitely would not buy these on my own.
