I have a pinched nerve in my neck and nothing seemed to be working to ease the pain. As I was leaving an orthopedic surgeon he said, some of his patients say the neck pillow helped ease the pain. They were right, if I do anything to trigger the pain, after a night or two of using the pillow makes the pain go away.

I bought this pillow when I was 18 and badly hurt my neck, I am now 38. It has been on every camping trip I have been on, every night spent at my sisters house and every vacation. It is old now and starting to fall apart a bit, but it has some life in it yet. Needless to say, this is a great pillow. It is soft, works as a leg or back pillow, and that perfect spot of firm and soft. Pro-tip: it folds perfectly in half and packs easy. (Also serves as a good reading position). I am a massage therapist of 25 years. I discovered Tempur - Neck Pillow while in school having used improper body mechanics back then. I'm great now and have been all these years. I tell all my clients about the support this pillow offers. I do much massage with neck problem clients. (I change it out every five years or so because it does soften after that time from constant use.. small price to pay). It has saved me many problems through the years.. thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very firm pillow that gives variable neck support and doubles as a perfect between the legs pillow. I am very happy with the purchase, and I feel like the BOGO offer is great value. The only downside is a very noticeable synthetic smell. Of course your head is so close to the pillow that it's hard to ignore. After 45 days with the pillows, the smell seems to be slowly fading over time.

I purchased two TEMPUR-Neck Pillows for our two guest rooms. My adult children slept on them during the holidays. They lasted one night before they were on the floor. They both own neck pillows and these pillows are so hard it's like sleeping on a cement floor. Not recommended.

I'm a back and side sleeper and my arms don't hurt when I wake up from being curled in my side anymore. It's hard to know if I got the right size and the no exchange policy is understandable but I wonder if I should have gotten one size up. I measured and I'm right on the cusp between S and M. I wish they were "fuller" but overall they've been a huge improvement to my sleep and comfort! Definitely recommend.

First, I want to say that this is the third temper-neck pillow I have purchased. The first two pillows deserved a 5-star rating. This most recent purchase, however, deserves a one-star. Temper-Pedic must have changed this pillow because it is nothing like the first two I had. This pillow is so hard that it is like sleeping on a rock. I wake up with neck and jaw pain when I sleep on this pillow. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

I have had a Tempurpedic neck pillow for years which I love. I purchased 2 new ones but found that they smelled of chemicals and have not been able to use them. The cover slso seems to be made of a synthetic material. Not like they used to be but diappointing.
