[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TempurPedic has gathered quite a lot of followers surrounding this particular pillow comfort. It seems to be just the right balance of firmness level and size to fit a wide variety of needs, and consequently, it has a long list of positive ratings. To top the list of positive attributes is the shape and contouring of the foam. This seems to be a favorite of back sleepers more so than side sleepers who say it feels as if it is stretching out their neck and providing shoulder relief. Side sleepers also like how well it keeps them in position through the night with many claiming it reduces tossing and turning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design isn't shaped close enough to human anatomy for someone who sleeps on their side and back. The material is too dense to allow proper cradling of the head, given the design shape. It's like trying to be comfortable on a sculpted piece of styrofoam. The design does allow enough room for a person's ear when sleeping on their side, but because of the density of the material and the anatomical differences of each person (neck length, shoulder-to-neck distance, skull shape, and head weight), the person's body doesn't compress the pillow correctly to allow proper spine alignment and keeping the ear in the sculpted area. When sleeping on one's back, again the head's weight doesn't compress the pillow enough for proper cradling or alignment, thus keeping the neck bent slightly forward, allowing the head tilt to cause snoring, the prevention of which was the reason for its purchase. The design is NOT the number one choice for helping end snoring, as is the internet claim.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not just firm but extra firm, so it didn't yield/squish down at all under the weight of my head. Because of that, it stayed excessively lofty, which for me meant that even a medium was too high, as it wrenched my neck. Had I known any of this before ordering, I would've selected the small (assuming it's small/accommodating enough). So now, the only thing I use this medium for is as a backrest; sleeping on it simply kinks my neck.

This pillow is too hard for me. The curve is perfect for my neck but then it's like putting your head on cement with a blanket on top or something to that effect. I've had it over a month and still hate it. Maybe I'll use it behind my back while sitting on the couch to see if I can break it in that way. Disappointed in this purchase. I have other Tempurpedic pillow which I love, but not this one!

I have been a fan of the Tempur-Neck Pillow for over a decade. I am 6' tall with broad shoulders and am a side sleeper. For a decade, every few years I would buy a new QUEEN size LARGE Tempur-Neck Pillow (after 3-4 years, they get too soft and I needed a new one). This time when I went to order I see they redesigned it. First, they got rid of the QUEEN size. The QUEEN size from before was about the length of a normal pillow. Still too small for my king size bed, but better than the STANDARD size which should really be called CHILD. This new pillow is so small that when I roll over, I roll right off the pillow. Secondly and more importantly, the new formula is much softer and has far less support than even my 4 year old one. I called customer care and was told they redesigned it and that lots of people are complaining. I implore Tempurpedic to bring back the Original Tempur-Neck Pillow. Take a look at all of your bad reviews on this pillow. I'm not the only one asking. Rebrand this new neck pillow to a new name. It is nothing like the old one. Bring back the QUEEN size - this pillow is too small. This LARGE pillow is supposed to be for people with broad shoulders, but because it is so soft, my head seeps into it and I wake up with a neck ache.

Despite receiving PT, OT, pain management medication and having purchased an adjustable bed with a special mattress, I still had chronic neck pain. With this pillow, I'm now sleeping better, experiencing far less pain, and have a healthier appetite!

I have purchased this same pillow many times over the past 10+ years, and I replace it once it looses its firmness. This new pillow is too soft, in fact it's less firm than the one I was replacing. There was no choice indicated for a less or more firm pillow, so I thought this one was the same firmness as I purchased previously. I am disappointed.

I replaced it with a new one and everything is still the same except this new pillow is way firmer than my old one and it's hard to sleep on. I prefer the first one. It seems like they are using a firmer foam than they use too. I called to complain but they said they didn't know if they changed the firmness of it he pillow and that I could not return it. It I had know it was this firm I would of order a small instead of the medium pillow.

I have slept on this pillow for over 12 years. My husband uses one now as well. I have a bulging disk problem in my neck due to a car accident years ago when I was rear-ended. This pillow has really helped me with my neck and I no longer wake up with a sore neck.
