The bag has a ziplock closure after opening and each chew tab is individually wrapped in a shiny silver wrapper so they all don't dry out . Give it about 30 minutes for the rumbling to begin. Would be even better if it produced less gas but oh boy does it work well. I haven't been this cleaned out since my last colonoscopy.

Cons: The magnesium active ingredient had me feeling very sleepy. I took this around nighttime so it wasn't a huge issue, but it relaxed me so much that I couldn't imagine using this during daytime hours without falling asleep.
