The taste is okay, definitely not the best, but doable. The artificial fruit flavor can't really mask the taste of the ingredient. For me, it usually works within a few hours (for me, between 2-3 hrs), and works best if you drink some water alongside it to smooth things along. I didn't experience bloating or cramps just like the bag said. It's gentle and fast relief just as advertised.
