We've had GE appliances for over fifty years, Our 37 Year old microwave was a g e. We love this new GE Microwave, it's just as good as our old one. If not better. It has lots of power ease of use. Everything about it is excellent. we love love love it.

I like the sleekness of the design as it allows for a large interior cooking space without a large outer exterior. This is the largest interior we found with the smallest exterior so that it would fit in the space that we needed. There are a lot of settings that are useful. When cooking, the sound emitted is minimal.

Purchased this s GE 1.6 cu ft microwave to replace our Sharp 1.8 cu ft unit. Unfortunately, GE didn’t have a 1.8 sized unit available to fit our existing built-in cabinet cavity. Appears to be a sturdy & hopefully durable machine. However, the LED display isn’t as bright as our other kitchen appliances with LED displays. Very dim, especially at night time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is sharp looking. All the buttons work fine. Instructions are easy to read and understand. Only 1 issue. . . the lighted display is extremely faint. With normal room lighting, you will find it challenging to read. There is no adjustment to make it 'brighter'. Checked out 2 other new units on the shelf, right out of the box, same weak display. . . be advised.

Really like but should be aware that it is hard to press buttons. I feel I have to press really hard when trying to program cook times. Also the open door button is hard to press. Because of this it scoots around on counter. I put a non skid matt under it to solve that problem.

I bought this to replace an older unit that was with the house when purchased several years ago. Difficult to find one that fit well in the cabinet (didn’t have room for a trim piece). This one is a perfect fit all around. It functions well, heats up hotter on lower settings, the buttons are intuitive and it’s interior is much larger than my former one. To say I am thrilled is an understatement.

I have used this microwave for approximately five years. Overall, in general, it does exactly what it’s designed to do. Considering other competitors of the same or similar products. GE is still one of the best products that I use in my home today. Thank you!!

Overall, a very good product for the price. Through a series of circumstances, this is our third unit of the same make, and model - Because ultimately we do like it; definitely enough power and a good amount of interior space. That said, besides being loud when it shuts, the door mechanism broke down on our first model. There is also no way to turn off the ‘beep’ sounds… Both of which are minor complaints, I would still recommend this product.

We just wanted a basic microwave. Didn't need lots of bells & whistles. However, this unit has some nice touches. It's larger than our old unit, with more power. The control panel is laid out nicely and has plenty of features to make using it easy. We've used it so far to defrost, cook, warm food up, and as a timer. You can also override the mandatory child lock on the door so it works normal. Overall, we're pleased with our purchase and it's operation.

Great microwave !! This is our 3rd microwave, every microwave we had last more than 12 years, of course got to be GE,our microwaves never brake down, it’s just the interior paint start to peel off but other than that it’s a great brand, heats evenly ,I bought a panansonic and had to return it because it will not heat evenly !!
