I do not like the switch Sam’s club recently made in packaging their chicken from trays to pre portioned sections

When someone purchases boneless Chicken Thighs , they expect thighs. I opened two packages out of the four (about 2 pounds of chicken total) one had two nice thighs and three that were at least recognizable as parts of thighs. The next package had over 8 oz of small pieces and larger pieces but not whole thighs. This seems to be the new Members Mark Meat packaging policy. This is the second purchase of pre packaged Chicken where the contents were NOT as advertised.

This new chicken packaging is awful! It’s just chunks of chicken. I think I may have got two full thighs out of the whole thing! One of them covered with skin, in the boneless skinless pack! Bring back the trays of chicken!!! At least that way you can see what you are getting! Will not purchase chicken from Sam’s if this is what they are going to carry. Absolute garbage.

Something new at Sam’s Club. There’s two thighs in each forth of a bag. Eight thighs in the total package.

Clean trimmed chicken breasts at a good price. I do not like the new packaging! You cannot tell how many pieces (2 or 3) are in each individual package and you cannot tell what size each is. I like to kind of match my pieces for size. I find that when cutting the big 4 packages into individual packages it is too easy to accidentally cut one open.

These boneless skinless chicken thighs were not the quality I expect from Sam's. There were lots of small pieces that could only be used in soup. The larger pieces were very thin and scrappy. Very disappointing.

WHY did you do this? Corporate must need another raise. I bought my chicken from Sam's over anywhere else! I continued even as your prices increased and the pieces got smaller, but hey, I get it the economy is horrible. But I will NOT buy these pre packed thighs OR breasts again! Three thighs in pack and they were so small it was embarrassing. You'll tell me its the same by weight but you aren't fooling ME! Whatever that piece of material you put in your packaging to absorb liquid weighed almost 6 ounces! Now multiply that by 4 packages and that equals less chicken! Bring back the large trays of chicken so we can divide them up ourselves or loose $60 a month from this customer!
