New packaging

Something new at Sam’s Club. There’s two thighs in each forth of a bag. Eight thighs in the total package.

New packaging and processing?

Prior to this; boneless skinless thighs from Sam’s has been great. This time one whole package looked like it had been cut up with a weed eater, and some pieces still had skin on it. At least 1 to 2 pounds where nothing but small chunks.

Poor packaging

dont care for the new packaging you cant really see all of the meat youre purchasing. There was skin still on some of the thighs more than normal. Boneless and Skinless shouldnt be anything but the meat.

Way too many pieces

Thighs were torn apart into tiny pieces. Very difficult to grill on the grill. On the positive side, they were fresh and taste good.

Poultry change

I do not like the switch Sam’s club recently made in packaging their chicken from trays to pre portioned sections

Shrinkflation

They made the package smaller but the price never changed! Not sure why they switched to this smaller packaging, there used to be 6 packs of individuals chicken now it's only 4 packs. Not a good look

Nah

These thighs suck - I liked the other ones they had way better - these are really chopped up - they did a bad job butchering them. Not a good value

Awful new packaging

I do not like the new packaging. You cannot see each piece of chicken. When I opened one of the packages, there two boneless skinless thighs and a bunch of loose pieces.

Boneless skinless chicken thighs and bits.

What is going on with the new packaging? No more large container of whole boneless skinless chicken thighs. Now you get several mini packs of chicken thighs, each containing a few thighs and some extra “bits”. All stewing in their own juices, instead of draining into the normal absorbent pad that every other butcher uses. The chicken thigh packets must be measured by weight because I’ve had two to three whole chicken thighs and a few “bits”, not connected to any thigh, just thrown in the package with the thighs. This is in every individual packet! It should read “chicken thighs with extra bits” Unless you’re planning on cutting up your thighs into bite size pieces, what are you supposed to do with all those extra “bits”? I want whole thighs, I paid for whole thighs. The quality of chicken in general has gone way down with this new packaging. The excessive juice in the each packet is unpleasant and the chicken texture is different. Sadly, the chicken breasts are also packaged this way, as is all the chicken. This is not a good change.

New chicken thigh packaging

I don’t like the new packaging. The old packaging helped much better with chicken not being so wet and easier to open and work with
