New packaging

Something new at Sam’s Club. There’s two thighs in each forth of a bag. Eight thighs in the total package.

I liked the previous packaging much better than this type because you could see what you are buying

New packaging and processing?

Prior to this; boneless skinless thighs from Sam’s has been great. This time one whole package looked like it had been cut up with a weed eater, and some pieces still had skin on it. At least 1 to 2 pounds where nothing but small chunks.

Parakeet thighs

If these were chicken thighs, they must have been the size of parakeets.

New packaging = buying somewhere else

Hate the new packaging! We have a large family and need to open multiple packaged now. The same amount is not in each package and the pieces are chopped up smaller so they fall thru the grill now. Please go back to old packaging. Until then, I’ll be purchasing meat at another store

"TEMU Chicken"

So this is the second "kind" of Member's Mark Chicken Thighs in the new packaging that I have purchased. I have already reviewed the bone in thighs. These boneless thighs are just as bad. When your teenagers notice and begin asking if we are having "TEMU Chicken" you know the quality is subpar. First, the packaging is terrible. I can't see the sizes which is a problem because there is no consistency in sizing. See the photo attached. Also, some of the thighs were torn apart into strips. Add to all of the previous problems, the random little "chunks" of chicken in the packaging that are so small they will fall through the grates of the grill make this subpar. This is completely not worth the money. I bought the same type of product at a competitor just to see the difference and I will be buying from that competitor until Sam's changes their offering of Chicken thighs. This really is ridiculous and they will forever forward be called TEMU chicken in our home.

New chicken thigh packaging

I don’t like the new packaging. The old packaging helped much better with chicken not being so wet and easier to open and work with

New Packaging Is Horrible

The new packaging is absolutely horrible (there's a reason I always buy my chicken at Sam's rather than Co***o, but no reason to stay with Sam's now since it's the same). Between the breasts and thighs I use 35 pounds per week to make homemade food for a colony of feral cats (on top of what we eat ourselves). The prior packaging made this so simple - one slice across the top and pull out the neatly arranged pieces. Now I have to fight to remove the tape then flip and manipulate these stupid little plastic cubes all attached to other cubes. My prep time for the homemade cat food has more than tripled because of the nightmare of having to deal with these stupid little pack things and dig the pieces out from their 'randomly-smashed-into-the-package' state. And the sliminess from the 'retained water' takes handling the chicken pieces to an entirely new level of unpleasantness. And all that is after I already had to deal with the leaking packages (both in the store and in my refrigerator). When I go to buy it now, this means once I've loaded up all my chicken the very next thing I have to do is carefully push my shopping cart all the way to the front of the store without touching anything (even the handle of the shopping cart) just so I can wash my hands before I continue shopping.
