Terrible change to this product.

Terrible change to this product. Sams trays of chicken thighs used to be fantastic - big, well butchered, intact, pink and healthy looking. This new product is awful. Shredded tiny thighs in plastic baggies, no intact thighs at all. Color is grey/purple and honestly they don’t even smell good. I’ve bought these twice now, two weeks apart and they’re seriously awful. Will not be buying this staple for my family at Sam’s anymore.

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product. Sam's club's products are very good. Large size is suitable for families. I often cook dishes for my husband and children. I make seasoned, grilled skewers or pan-fried with sauce. Or deep-fried. All dishes are delicious

Affordable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chicken has good quality and it was so easy for meal prep. I made several dishes with a pack. I've attached one of my most favorite lemongrass chicken stir fried. The meat was juice and tender. I will definitely buy it again myself

Bits and Pieces

I am surprised that Sam’s put the “Member’s Mark” brand on these. As many others have said, they are bits and pieces of meat. They are supposed to be skinless, and I had 3 full slabs of skin. Definitely subpar to former chicken thighs. Not sure if I will be purchasing these again.

Was this chicken run over by a forklift?

My husband said, as a professional forklift operator, "this chicken looks like it was run over by a forklift." In my 43 years cooking on this beautiful earth, these are the worse chicken thighs I have ever bought. They are so thin, stringy, and covered in fat/skin/etc. It took me an hour to cut all the bad pieces out. Some parts are so thin, you can see the light though the chicken. There are dangly bits hanging off all over. The quality is abysmal and Sam's should be ashamed of selling these to customers. They are for my Mom's birthday party and I'm embarrassed to serve these. The previous chicken thighs were decent, the ones in the new packaging are terrible. Don't waste your money.

Easy to make, moist, flavorful and boneless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chicken thighs were moist and delicious! I typically make breasts but decided to make my Greek chicken recipe with thighs this time since they are boneless. I marinated them for about an hour then grilled them on our flat top grill. They were amazing! I have also made them plain on the stove top and grill and they were equally delicious!

Quality has tanked since the new packaging

We’ve purchased boneless chicken thighs from SC for years. The quality was always great. Since the new packaging, the quality now is very poor. Oddly shaped pieces, small chunks, etc. We’ve wasted over $40 on our last 2 purchases of this with the new packaging. Needless to say, we’ll no longer be buying chicken from SC.

Easy preparation and makes a great meal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am positively surprised at the quality of the boneless chicken thighs. I prepared them in the oven and they turned out juicy and flavorful without having to work around the bones. Other than marinade, they did not require any further preparation. All the fatty parts turned crispy and juicy, every little piece in the pouch was used and eaten. I like, that the pack is divided into 4 sections, allowing it to keep fresh for smaller families.

Good thighs, inconvenient packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chicken thighs cooked up well and were pretty juicy. They didn’t have a lot of fat on them, so I didn’t have to trim them up. They seemed fresh and didn’t have any unpleasant smells. However, this packaging style doesn’t allow you to see the sizes of the thighs, or even how many are in the package. They are just kind of shoved in there and you don’t know until you pull them out. The sizing was inconsistent, so cooking can be challenging because I’ll have a couple done but a couple not done yet. It can make it inconvenient. Although I do appreciate the absorbent pad inside the package to reduce leaks, this type of packaging overall is not my preference. I’d much rather have them laid out on a tray-type package where you can see how many you’re buying and the sizes of the thighs.
