I began my dinner by retrieving the frozen patties and chose one to be cooked in the oven. The oven method over the pan and grill method was the easiest for me to start. I followed the box directions and in 10 minutes it came out warm and thoroughly cooked. Its texture is not moist but not dry. Almost similar to the consistency of a veggie burger. It lays somewhere in the middle and I found a bit of tartar and yum yum sauce to dip in a delightful addition. I next chose try to pan fry the outside to see if it made a difference in the cooking outcome and if it would crisp up the outside for a bit of crunch. I did not find this to be successful although it did give the patty an attractive grill appearance. I found these frozen tuna patties to be a quick and tasty way to get a good source of protein, with lower calories and an enjoyable taste of tuna. This could be grill or baked and used on top of a salad / cut up into tacos or just used as a sandwich in a bun or on greens. This is quick non breaded way to gain some protein without a lot of hassle of cooking time. This costs works out to roughly $2.16 for each patty which is a great price for a full protein meal.

I thought these were pretty tasty. I cooked them in my air fryer for about 15 minutes at 400F til they were pretty crispy. I noticed they smell like tuna noodle casserole while cooking. I didnt notice any fishy taste though. I put a slice of American processed cheese on top and ate with some sour cream and cheddar chips. Find yourself a big bun these patties are fairly large!!

I tried these tuna burgers and overall really enjoy them. The texture is soft but still hold together when cooked. And the tuna is not too fishy. They are quick and convenient for an easy meal, I tried them with burger bun and with salad as well. I'm giving it 4 stars because it a bit salty for my taste but overall it a good healthy alternative to other burger patties.

Love fish and this tuna burger is high quality meat that makes it easy to incorporate fish into summer meals. They are easy to prep on stove top or grill and fantastic with a sauce and then a side salad for a quick lunch. Holds up well during the prep and looks great on a burger or on its own. Very fresh meat and easy to store in packets of three in the freezer. Binding material is taste neutral, you just taste fresh tuna.

Overall these tuna burger are good and I would buy again. I love they are frozen and come in 2 packages of 3 patties. I wasnt sure what to put on them but after trying them, I would definitely put a slaw or something on to give some crunch and add an additional flavor. I followed the cooking instructions for making them in the oven and had to cook for longer. I put them in frozen, but the 8-10 minutes per the instructions wasnt long enough. I didn't time it out exactly but I probably cooked them double that time from frozen. They have a great taste and made for an easy meal. I was pleasantly surprised, especially since they are are frozen. I would buy again.

I honestly didn't think tuna would work well as a burger but it really did . Once cooked , the patty is flavorful with a mild but not too fishy taste . The texture is firm yet juicy and it pairs perfectly with other topping and condiments. Plus, the high protein and clean ingredients are a great bonus.

I love Safe Catch products, so I was very excited to try these tuna burgers. Firstly, the pros: the patties are substantial and easy to prepare in multiple methods. The Safe Catch promise of testing every fish for mercury levels is awesome. I liked the simple preparation; no weird additions or seasonings, just simply flavored. As for the cons, although I same someone who enjoys tuna, I did find the flavor to be quite fishy, so that is definitely something to keep in mind. Additionally, inside the box, the patties are packed three to a pouch, and it's not resealable, so you have to find some way to preserve them if you're not going to cook exactly three or six at once.

I wanted to love these Safe Catch Tuna burgers, but the texture and density is just not ideal. I tried to cook them at the recommended time in the oven and they were too wet and smushy. I then convection oven baked them on a sheet and they did get a nicer texture on the outside with a browned crust, but then the inside was too dry. Setting the texture aside, flavor wise, the tuna itself is tasty and to me has some great seasoning in it. Additionally, the nutritional content of these tuna burgers is really wholesome, with 33 grams of protein per PATTY and 7 grams of good fats, these are great for people like me who want as much protein in a meal with healthy fats. There are a lot of great things about this product like the fact that there aren't any seed oils, no sugar, has avocado oil, is sustainably caught and mercury tested. It seems like this brand is trying to make a fantastic product, but I think the patties probably need a little more fat included in them so they are more burger like and don't dry out so much.

Wow. The protein is high in these. So that had me sold. But the taste was ok. I had to put some cheese and lettuce and sliced avocado. I made them in the oven. They don't need to be defrosted. So that was a plus. I forgot to leave a meat out then remembered I had them. So whew. I was as saved with the family. They smell like tuna and don't have any mold. I can see what some people say that they taste bad. But when you dress them up they are pretty. Good. A little fish juice spilled on my apron. But it didn't stain it or anything. I love the amount of protein in them. Wow. This is great. So happy I tried them. You get six in one pack. So good price of $12.96 at Sam's Club wasn't bad at all. You can cook on the griddle, grill oven or stovetop. Which is great. I did flavor with some cracked black pepper I would recommend these.

This Safe Catch Tuna Burger are so delicious. I really love the taste, they are so easy to prepare and juicy. The ingredients are also good. At first I thought the taste was going to be not as good as the regular burger but they were so good my kids loved them. They came 6 in the the box they were great value for the price I will definitely buy them again.
