Regular flavor, but a bit too dry

I really wanted to love this tuna burgers, but they fell a little short for me. The flavor profile is actually pretty good and well-seasoned, but they texture was the main issue - they turned out quite dry and dense. They work okay if you load them with extra mayo or a juicy slice of tomato to compensate. But I'll probably keep looking for a brand that manages to retain a bit more moisture.

Not bad, just not for me

I’m not usually a tuna fan, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Surprisingly they were decent. They were easy to prepare, had a decent texture and the flavor wasn’t overly fishy. It’s not something I would personally purchase because tuna isn’t my preferred protein.

Not our favorite catch!

We tried the safe catch tuna burgers and overall we are not a fan. The burgers are very fishy smelling, which lingers in the kitchen for hours. As far as taste, I could not finish eating the entire burger, nor could my husband who normally eats anything. The package looks appealing, and the price was not terrible.

I was pleasantly surprised!

I think it’s a good size portion. One patty actually filled me. It was easy to prepare just like any other burger and the flavor was really good. Easy to store in the freezer as well and it tasted amazing. I wish I had lettuce and tomatoes to add to it but overall it was still great and my kids also enjoyed it and they’re very picky so definitely 10 out of 10.

Safe Catch - Wild Caught!

The Safe Catch Tuna Burgers are not only delicious but theu are a healthy option for a quick meal.at home! Our family always looks for wild caught fish when purchasing our seafood and I was so happy to see that not only is Safe Catch wild caught fish, but it is also full of protein and nutrients! Not a crumb was left after we grilled the frozen burgers and paired it with a veggie pasta salad for dinner. It was such a hit even our kids aged 10 months to 9 years loved it.

Surprisingly Delicious and Clean

This has become one of my favorite quick dinners. The tuna burgers are hearty, flavorful, and cook up with a great texture that holds together well. I love that they're made with simple ingredients, high protein, and and free from seed oils and fillers. They taste fresh, satisfying, and pair perfectly with a salad, roasted veggies, or a bun. It's convenient and the portions are of a good size to be filling. When they're done there's a pleasing aroma.

Easy to make tuna burger!

Overall these tuna burger are good and I would buy again. I love they are frozen and come in 2 packages of 3 patties. I wasnt sure what to put on them but after trying them, I would definitely put a slaw or something on to give some crunch and add an additional flavor. I followed the cooking instructions for making them in the oven and had to cook for longer. I put them in frozen, but the 8-10 minutes per the instructions wasnt long enough. I didn't time it out exactly but I probably cooked them double that time from frozen. They have a great taste and made for an easy meal. I was pleasantly surprised, especially since they are are frozen. I would buy again.

Tuna Burgers!

These are great! These tuna burgers are not trying to be a hamburger, they are what they are a healthy tuna burger. I prepared them using the oven method which was quick and simple. Though I did have to add on an extra 4 minutes to the cooking time in order for the center to not be pink. Also, when pulled from the oven the are light colored and quite frankly not very appetizing, which is why I not a star off. Don’t let that deter you from trying them though. They do taste wonderful! Plus, they aren’t pretending good for you! 33 grams of protein per patty! The fish they use is mercury tested as well! This product is definitely getting added to my shopping rotation!

Nice Texture

The tuna burgers tasted great and it was a good alternative to having beef. I wasn't pretty with the flavor and texture and how to pay these remain firm and juicy but I'm feeling overly dry. We see them even though it didn't need much. I will say it does have a undeniable tuna taste but this is something we have no problem with cuz we love seafood. We fry these in my griddle pan straight from the freezer. Keep in mind these patties Make an owls making tuna casserole but either way it wasn't too fishy to my pallet.

Nice easy to prepare tuna burger with small flaws

Finally got to cook these again after I burned the first batch. That one was totally my fault and nothing to do with the burger. This time around I cooked the tuna burgers on a well seasoned flat top and the came out nice. No sticking, easy to handle etc. I wasn’t super sure on exactly when they were done so I probably slightly overcooked. I ate them two ways, one as a topped burger with mayo and veggies and one just the straight patty. As part of the bigger burger they were pretty good, not overpowering but definitely the star of the show. As a solo, these were a bit dry and while the bite and initial taste are nice there is a relatively fishy/oily aftertaste. The kind of aftertaste I associate with canned skipjack tuna. It’s not a deal breaker for me but it’s not a light flavor and might be for some. Overall I’d say these were pretty good and I’ll consider getting them again for when I have guests that don’t eat meat. I don’t have any other experience with tuna burgers so the value is hard is compare but it felt fair what what you get. 4/5 stars with deductions for dryness and possibly divisive aftertaste.
