Straight out of the pan the flavor is definitely a bit on the “fishy” side. Not surprising - it is tuna after all! Adding some tomato and mustard cut through the strong fish flavor and made for a darn good burger! Good value at the price. Would recommend- with condiments.

Eating seafood can sometimes feel like a game of Russian roulette, so knowing every single batch is tested gives me peace of mind, Clean ingredients: No artificial junk. It's just solid, clean protein. The Flavor: if you season them right, they are delicious! They have a good Clean fish Flavor without being overwhelming "fishy" . They hold together really well on the grill or cast-iron skillet. Room for Improvement Dryness factor: Because Safe Catch doesn't pack their fish with oily fillers or excess water, these burgers can dry out very quickly if you aren't careful. Pro Tip: Keep a close eye on the cooking time. Pull them off the heat just as they cook through, and consider serving them with a slice of avocado, a dollop of spicy mayo, or a quick mango salsa to add some moisture back in. Overall these are fantastic, healthy alternative to beef burgers.

I began my dinner by retrieving the frozen patties and chose one to be cooked in the oven. The oven method over the pan and grill method was the easiest for me to start. I followed the box directions and in 10 minutes it came out warm and thoroughly cooked. Its texture is not moist but not dry. Almost similar to the consistency of a veggie burger. It lays somewhere in the middle and I found a bit of tartar and yum yum sauce to dip in a delightful addition. I next chose try to pan fry the outside to see if it made a difference in the cooking outcome and if it would crisp up the outside for a bit of crunch. I did not find this to be successful although it did give the patty an attractive grill appearance. I found these frozen tuna patties to be a quick and tasty way to get a good source of protein, with lower calories and an enjoyable taste of tuna. This could be grill or baked and used on top of a salad / cut up into tacos or just used as a sandwich in a bun or on greens. This is quick non breaded way to gain some protein without a lot of hassle of cooking time. This costs works out to roughly $2.16 for each patty which is a great price for a full protein meal.

When I first seen the tuna burger I wasn't sure about it. I had a back up just in case I didn't like it. But…. it's actually really good! I cooked mine in the oven only wish it was a airfryer temp and time. (I will figure it out) I seen some reviews it smelled fishy but honestly mine did not smell at all. The size of it was pretty good I expected it to be smaller. I will definitely buy it again.

The Safe Catch Tuna Burgers are not only delicious but theu are a healthy option for a quick meal.at home! Our family always looks for wild caught fish when purchasing our seafood and I was so happy to see that not only is Safe Catch wild caught fish, but it is also full of protein and nutrients! Not a crumb was left after we grilled the frozen burgers and paired it with a veggie pasta salad for dinner. It was such a hit even our kids aged 10 months to 9 years loved it.

These tuna burgers honestly surprised us in the best way. Super flavourful, juicy, and packed with protein - but still light and fresh. We made simple homemade burgers with fresh veggies and they turned out restaurant-quality. Definitely adding these to our regular grocery list.

It was easy to cook and worked really well with lettuce, beets and spicy mayo. The burgers felt lighter than traditional beef burgers but still filling and high in protein. Overall, I would buy them again for a quick, healthier burger option that feels satisfying.

This is definitely for someone that likes tuna. It does have a very strong tuna flavor because obviously it is a tuna patty, but got it so yummy. I made a burger with lettuce, tomato, Chimichuri, pan melted Monterey Jack cheese, a buttered brioche bun and obviously the tuna patty. I highly recommend eating it like this because it was delicious and I will be making this again tomorrow. The actual Patty itself is nice and thick and will fill me up for the rest of the day. I personally love spice so I did add extra seasoning to it and it was perfect.

I definitely wanted to love these more than I did. BUT I do think they're worth trying if you're curious and can get them on sale. It really depends on how strong of a tuna flavor you prefer. I'm not used to having tuna that has a more robust flavor I guess, and I've never had Safe Catch before. For me the flavor ended up tasting like dog food, unfortunately. Bf agreed as far as ~2 stars, mainly bc the patties didn't crisp up in the air fryer and the texture wasn't his favorite - I didn't take any issue with the texture though. I think the binding allowed for a natural crumble as well! We sprinkled it over our salad and it was easy to disperse. I think these would be best to have as a tuna burger, so we will try that next and I'll update this review if that makes an impact! Overall, there could be a learning curve with prep here, so openness to their versatility is great. The protein content is INSANELY good, and I do love the ingredient list. They're a bit expensive at $13 a box.

I am simply amazed with these safe catch tuna burgers and how delicious it tasted. I liked how it did not take long at all to cook on the grill. It is nice with it being in a patty form so I'm easily able to put it on a bun and eat it. I also liked how the patty stayed together and did not fall apart when I was cooking it. It tasted so fresh. I like how it has a good amount of protein in it as this does help with my daily protein intake. The patty is very tender and easy to chew. I like how I get six patties in the box and each patty is a good size and is filling. I feel that it has very simple ingredients and I like how the ingredients listed are all recognizable. It is also nice because I was able to cook the patty with it being frozen so I do not have to worry about trying to defrost it.
