They have a firm and juicy texture

I loved them. They have a firm and juicy texture, a delicious flavor without being too strong and a perfect way to prepare burgers quickly. In addition, they are a very nutritious option due to their high protein content and are very practical for a fast and healthy meal. I would definitely buy them again.

It’s tuna, don’t expect it to taste like beef.

So first things first, you have to be honest with yourself about what the product is, tuna. If you buy the patties thinking it’ll be a substitute for beef, or it’ll taste like beef, you’re gonna be disappointed. BUT if you accept that you’re buying tuna patties, and you’re okay with that, then they’re honestly pretty good. I’ve eaten 3 patties so far. One cooked plain (just salt and pepper added), one cooked marinated in a burger seasoning blend that I made with A1 sauce, and one cooked mostly plain but with some A1 steak butter in the pan. Honestly, the fishy tuna flavor isn’t forward, it’s pretty “generic grilled meat” flavor at the front, which I consider a good thing for a burger patty. But the aftertaste is overwhelmingly tuna. To be fair, it tastes extremely fresh, like good quality tuna. But if you don’t like tuna or fish then you’re not gonna like it. I would say it’s 60% “meat flavor”, and 40% tuna flavor. So as a beef alternative it’s not bad at all, it definitely works as a burger patty. But bear in mind that it will still taste like tuna, especially on the aftertaste. If you’re someone that likes tuna, and you’re okay with having a burger that’s not beef, I honestly think it’s pretty good. Salt, butter, and a condiment like steak sauce or ketchup is definitely your friend in hiding the tuna flavor and making you think “burger”, but you can’t escape it completely. Would I buy it again? The problem is that I don’t eat burgers very often, so if I want a burger…I’m gonna buy a beef burger. But if I ate burgers more often and wanted a change of pace, or I was on a diet or fast that didn’t allow for beef, then I would definitely buy this again. The macros are great, better than a leading alternative meat substitute, and it doesn’t fall apart into a mushy texture, and it’s not too dry or flaky. For what it is, it’s honestly not bad. But it’s a tuna patty, you can’t pretend it’s not.

Decent value for the quantity

The color wasn’t very appealing, being that it is tuna, it didn’t smell up the kitchen when I cooked it. It had a lot of spice. I just fried it in a pan and added a few condiments to it. It really isn’t my cup of tea. It’s only comes to about $2 per patty which isn’t really bad.

Nice Texture

The tuna burgers tasted great and it was a good alternative to having beef. I wasn't pretty with the flavor and texture and how to pay these remain firm and juicy but I'm feeling overly dry. We see them even though it didn't need much. I will say it does have a undeniable tuna taste but this is something we have no problem with cuz we love seafood. We fry these in my griddle pan straight from the freezer. Keep in mind these patties Make an owls making tuna casserole but either way it wasn't too fishy to my pallet.

Fresh, filling, and versatile frozen tuna burgers with great value.

These Safe Catch Tuna Burgers blew me away. They taste really fresh and the size is perfect for a full meal. Great value with 6 high-protein patties. Conservation is easy: freezer to pan. Love the reusability too. I’ve used them for burgers and salads.

solid patty with great nutrition

The safe catch tuna burger was honestly one of the best pieces of tuna I’ve ever had in my life. The patty had the same texture as a burger and came out looking really good. The only downside I would say is it does have a slightly fishy taste, but still taste very good. Overall, a solid product if you want good nutrition and a good tasting tuna patty.

Easy to make tuna burger!

Overall these tuna burger are good and I would buy again. I love they are frozen and come in 2 packages of 3 patties. I wasnt sure what to put on them but after trying them, I would definitely put a slaw or something on to give some crunch and add an additional flavor. I followed the cooking instructions for making them in the oven and had to cook for longer. I put them in frozen, but the 8-10 minutes per the instructions wasnt long enough. I didn't time it out exactly but I probably cooked them double that time from frozen. They have a great taste and made for an easy meal. I was pleasantly surprised, especially since they are are frozen. I would buy again.

With 33g. of excellents source of protein it taste delicious,

Finding high-protein meal options that actually taste good can be a challenge after bariatric surgery, but these Safe Catch Tuna Burgers are a major win! With a massive 33g of protein per patty, no sugar, and no seed oils, they fit perfectly into my daily goals. I seasoned them up and cooked them in a skillet, and they held together beautifully. The texture is fantastic juicy and satisfying without being dense or heavy. Paired with a soft bun, fresh veggies, and high-protein chips, it makes an incredible, filling meal. Highly recommend for an easy, healthy lunch or dinner! Received product as part of an educational promotion in exchange for my honest opinion.

Nice easy to prepare tuna burger with small flaws

Finally got to cook these again after I burned the first batch. That one was totally my fault and nothing to do with the burger. This time around I cooked the tuna burgers on a well seasoned flat top and the came out nice. No sticking, easy to handle etc. I wasn’t super sure on exactly when they were done so I probably slightly overcooked. I ate them two ways, one as a topped burger with mayo and veggies and one just the straight patty. As part of the bigger burger they were pretty good, not overpowering but definitely the star of the show. As a solo, these were a bit dry and while the bite and initial taste are nice there is a relatively fishy/oily aftertaste. The kind of aftertaste I associate with canned skipjack tuna. It’s not a deal breaker for me but it’s not a light flavor and might be for some. Overall I’d say these were pretty good and I’ll consider getting them again for when I have guests that don’t eat meat. I don’t have any other experience with tuna burgers so the value is hard is compare but it felt fair what what you get. 4/5 stars with deductions for dryness and possibly divisive aftertaste.

Solid tuna burger patty

These tuna burger patties were better than I expected. They cooked quickly and easily, cooking instructions were very clear. They were moist and a good size, reminded me of a grilled chicken breast. The tuna flavor was good, no fishy smell or aftertaste. The ingredient list wasn’t overwhelming.
