It uses using both K-Cup® pods and ground coffee to brew a cup and or a pot of coffee. The large water reservoir is shared between single serve and carafe brewing, which means fewer water refills to save you time. The 12-cup glass carafe includes a heating plate perfect for keeping coffee hot. The added convenience of the Pause & Pour feature makes serving easy and quick. It has multiple brew sizes for the carafe as well, which is super convenient depending on how much coffee you need to make. I love that there is a Programmable Carafe Auto Brew option so I can set the night before and have a pot of coffee, hot and fresh...

My only gripe is when we use the carafe the bottom of the coffee holder is partially full of water when we remove the holder. I soak it up with paper towel and dry it out. Am I doing something wrong???

I love the kcup and full pot brew options! I also love that it has an iced tea option. The kcup portion makes 5 pin holes into your pot instead of one and I feel it gives you bigger flavoring of coffee. I love the options for cup size as well.

This idea of having a duo machine is clever for those of us that either want to brew a whole pot of coffee on those tiring days or when you’re on the go and just want to do a cup with a k~cup. Making iced coffee from previously brew coffee just isn’t the same at home. I’ve had a regular Keurig in the past and loved it but but it doesn’t help when you have a lot of people wanting coffee, so I love this also has the side-by-side coffee maker and can make up to 12 cups of coffee. I love that. I can use the single sign for other things like tea and hot chocolate as well. This is the perfect all in one for all your hot and cold beverage needs. I highly recommend this.

I am so in love with this Keurig. It’s super sleek and it looks nice, just aesthetics are amazing. I love the fact that you can have hot or iced coffee and it has the old-school coffee maker on the side which I love for when my grandma comes to visit. She only prefers the old-school coffee makers for obvious reasons. It also came with coffee and tea which was nice as well. I haven’t cleaned it, but I know that there are cleaning pods that I can buy so I’m sure that process will not be too hard and old school side of the coffee maker, I will probably hand wash. This Duo-K is truly fantastic and super easy to use. You do need to read instructions, but it is very simple to understand.
