- 5 out of 5 stars review7/24/2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Keurig Coffee Maker for the past 15 years and it’s the only brand I will ever own. This Duo-K is truly fantastic and super easy to use. You do need to read instructions, but it is very simple to understand. The instructions are very detailed as there’s so many different instructions for different options, but it is easy to follow. Love that you can switch to a single serve or multi-cups. The coffee pot is glass but can serve up to 12 cups as the KCup side is from 6-12oz drinks. Another amazing feature of this coffee machine is that you can brew over ice so you can make iced coffee. When I saw this model on sale, I figured that I should try again. So far I am very pleased with this unit. The features are great, they give me much more control over my brewing.

I love how it has two sides. One is drip and the other single serve that uses the Keurig pods. It brews super fast and it’s so quiet. If I am just making coffee for myself I can just make 1 cup. If I have guests over and need to make more then I have the pot option to use! The sleek black appearance goes well with my kitchen. I will say that I wish the part that you put a k cup in was slanted. Having it open straight up makes it difficult to have the machine placed under a cabinet. I have to slide the machine forward each time I want to use a k cup. Additionally, you have to order a water filter separately. I have well water and absolutely need a filter. Lastly, the price. I can not justify spending this much when there are similar products for much cheaper

I thought I'd miss the "smart" features of our last machine with its programmability, but don't at all. Coffee comes out hotter and stronger than previous units and appears the pump may be more robust as it seems to pump stronger and faster. We primarily use the single serve side, but it's nice to have the multi cup option which we use a couple times a week or so. We bought a permanent filter for the carafe side and the jury is still out on that, I rate the performance 5 star, but the value down based on the requirement to purchase additional coffee with an auto order to get the better price.

Wether single serve or carafe, the coffee brews quickly and has that full coffee flavor. My only criticism is I can't make less than 6 cups of coffee on the carafe side...a major disapointment. I'm the only one in my family who brews by the carafe, everyone else brews a single cup. I'd prefer to brew only 4 cups in the morning. Needless to say, I discard leftover coffee every morning.

I LOVE that it has extra features to make it stronger or extra hot. It brews so much faster than my old machine. It's design is nice, but not over the top. I also really like that I can make a pot if I have guests over, but am still able to make my singles every morning. The flavor of each coffee and tea I've used is delicious and I can taste the difference from my cheap machine. I have a pretty tight kitchen space, and it fits perfectly on my counter and under the cabinet. I would highly recommend!
