I’ll start that this may be a great solution for others, but it isn’t working for me. I’m disappointed with the “quality” of the product, because at the price point, I had expectations of more substantial parts. This unit is best described as having a “chintzy” feel. However, my biggest complaint is the warming plate 2 hour hold time for the pot warmer. This device replaces a Cuisinart dual brewing unit (with grinder) and that unit had a 4 hour warmer which better fit our household needs for the morning based on wake up times. Generally, we start the day with a pot of ground beans brewed then transition to K-Cups through the day/evening. So, this unit fits part of our needs but I’m not completely sold on the value. I wish the warmer time had been shared in the description which would have driven me to select a K-Cup only option and complimented with a drip brewer more aligned to my specific needs and quality expectations.

Love that this will brew either a pot or a cup! Husband loves really hot coffee so we tried out the x hot feature. It brews about 20 degrees hotter…. So that’s a win! The basket for the coffee pot is convenient to fill and to empty. We removed the base at the bottom of the cup holder since we always brew in a 20 oz Artic cup. Haven’t notice it splatters so far!!

We're enjoying the options in an all in one appliance. I especially like making a one cup decaf at night. We're still looking for a pod coffee that we really like. The carafe coffee is simple to use just like most drip coffees. Nothing special if youre super picky about the details of the coffee.

If you are an all day coffee drinker this is NOT the right coffee maker for you or me. It only keeps coffee in the Cafe for 2 hours and you CAN NOT turn the warmer back on without it making another pot. Very POOR DESIGN FOR ALL DAY COFFEE DRINKERS I would not recommend purchasing this K-Duo

This is my 3rd Keurig. My wife complains that there is too much plastic with the pods. So I decided to buy this model that offers a carafe option. My wife brews her coffee by pouring hot water over a filter that drips to her cup. SO MESSY and TIME CONSUMING FOR ONE CUP. My only complaint is that I would like to be able to brew one cup of coffee in the carafe but Keurig says not to. Rather I should use the pod instead for single serve. That’s OK for me as I love the easiness of making no messy coffee for one drink at a time. Other than that , I find the Keurig to be an amazing mechanical engineering design that is so easy to use.

So far we love this coffee maker. We almost passed it up because our first generation duo only lasted a little less than 3 years and that was a free replacement. Our very first one lasted just a few months. But we like the Keurig brand and the duo has a smaller footprint. Plus it sits on the sliding pod tray under our cabinets. This new 2nd generation makes hotter coffee and it stays hot. Another improvement is the carafe. It does not leak/drip like the previous style. Great improvement all around!

Nice unit which does double duty. Easy to operate but doesn’t have an off switch. Also the carafe coffee isn’t as hot as we like it. No option on this but there is a hot option on the single serve side. Would be a great added feature. Otherwise very satisfied

We’ve had a Bunn for years with separate single serve Keurig’s. I love this duo. Less counterspace, easy controls, programmable. We wanted a pot that brews 12 cups; the pot seems huge, and it’s heavy when full. The height is good under my counter. My largest Tervis cup fits under the single serve. I’m happy!

Overall its just another coffee pot, but theres a few things I think could make it better. Theres no sense in having to push five buttons just to turn on auto brew. I understand doing this for the initial setup, but not everytime night just to turn it on. Also, you cant select the number of ounces for cold brew like you can for regular pods. Our old Hamilton Beach was more user friendly.

Makes great coffee in carafe or cup. Unfortunately, using the cup button to turn off the carafe warming plate before the 2-hour warm time has expired doesn’t work. I have to unplug the unit to shut off early and then reset the clock, etc. - Somewhat inconvenient.
