Unpopular opinion compared to the other reviews, but I prefer the packaging. I only cook for my wife and I, and they package these 3-thighs per sealed packet, with a total of 4 packets, for a total of 12 thighs. I'll cook 3-thighs, which is more than enough for us an extra meal the following day. The separated sealed packets are convenient because I'm not juggling 9 other thighs, resealing them, or anything. I simply just take a singular packet, open it, and cook. The rest stay sealed and remain fresh. Also, since they are near-vacuum sealed, these have a shelf life of ~1 week from purchase date. So we get about 1 week of use for these, not having to freeze/thaw/constantly reseal. The quality of the chicken is decent. I mean, it's raw chicken. Is it slick on some parts? Yes. Is it kind of watery? Yes. Does all of that go away when you pat them dry and prep them? Yes. I'm not sure what the reviews about the quality is, unless you're literally used to FRESH chicken slaughtered in the backyard. I mean, this is mass-produced Sam's Club chicken we're talking about. If all you're looking for is raw bone-in chicken thighs, efficiency of separated packets for freshness, and ~7 day shelf life refrigerated, then this chicken is great for you. If you do NOT like mass-produced chicken, need to use all 12 thighs at once, and couldn't care less for the slightly longer shelf life, then this chicken isn't for you. Simple as that.

Very disappointed half the chicken was so small then some pieces the skin was bigger then the thigh others the skin was off just No

this might be the best marketing move Sam's has done. Bulk packaging without sacrificing ability to freeze excess.

Don't like the new packaging. It would be fine if there were 2 per package, but you can't tell how many there are.

I will no longer buy the chicken because of the change in packaging. It is a mess to get out of the packages and some of the pieces are quite small.

Pieces all different sizes skin is off alot of liquid no wonder price is so good wont e buying any more

not buying anymore of these chicken packs. sams products are going down and they are about to be knocked out of park with new neighbors in August!!

Changed the packaging to hide that they are selling chicken that do not meet quality standards! DISAPPOINTED to say the least.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality is good, the packaging is consistent. It doesn’t leak! You can easily take out and cook! It’s frying crispy and very delicious! Value is a great!
