Too thin

I've got to stand up for Sam's Club after seeing several negative reviews. These under pads work well. No leakage. (How can a plastic backed pad leak? Only way I can think of is if the back is torn or chewed on.). Yes, we used the older blue style for several years with incontinent pets in our rescue. I was a bit leery after seeing the negative reviews, but went ahead with the purchase of the new style. The new tan version works just fine! Users need to remember these are NOT puppy pads. They don't have a scent to attract the puppy/dog, which is one reason we like them. The price is very good for 120 pads and we like the size, as it matches the "playpen" that we use for sick dogs. Depending on the dog’s needs, we sometimes will place a towel over the pad, so the dog isn't sitting/laying directly on the pad. Other times, we put the pad on one side of the playpen and the dog's bedding on the other. Either way works for us and works well. I do remember a time we had a pad laying directly on the floor and it became wet underneath. Turns out the dog had wet at the edge of the pad, so the urine went on the pad and under it. But that's certainly not a product defect. For those that only want puppy pads, use those instead. But for us, these pads work wonders in several situations for incontinent/sick dogs in our rescue. Thank you Sam's Club for offering an affordable choice!

I've been buying these underpads for the past two years for my dogs' to use. To be honest, it's the only reason I have a Sam's membership. Those that had the blue lining were absolutely great - they were cheaper than the same ones sold in local grocery stores. I could buy 8 pks at Sam's for the same price I could buy 4 elsewhere. However, somebody made a bad decision to "improve" them. I don't know why people think they need to "improve" something that's there's nothing wrong with unless it means they can skimp on the product and thereby make more money for themselves. The "new and improved" version of the pads that were perfectly fine is not so improved. It's thinner and the leaks. The floor underneath is usually wet when I change them out. They are by no means "superior waterproof pads". Too bad. They ruined the superior pads by changing something that didn't it. While the price remained close to what it was, I'm having to change them more than previously and therefore, spending more because I'm having to use more of them. Really a shame.

I have purchased these pads for many years and loved the old version. I used them for two little yorkies and had no issues. The product and price were great. I purchased these in June (3 boxes) and was so disappointed with the quality of these. They are less absorbent and leak. I'm not sure why the old version was changed but please bring it back. This was a waste of money and now I need to find another option.

I have been using these Underpads for at least seven years they were great then I am forced to order the new improved pads epic failure. These do not absorb like the others such a shame when a product gets 4.00 plus rating down to a 2 something is really wrong. I am disabled and do not drive was so greatful I could order these on line came right to my home but now I am on the hunt for another type so very disappointed these cost more and do not work as well what a shame. New and improved epic failure! Giving them a rating at 1 was a strech

I buy these for my animals for if they need to use the bathroom, and I can not get them outside quick enough. It works well, better than the advertised ones for actual dogs. My old 17 yr old cat also has learned to use them. Makes for easy cleanup. Sorry, I do not use them for human use, but the job is the same.

We run a dog rescue and use these as puppy pads since they are bigger and cheaper than actual puppy pads. Disappointed to see that they aren't as absorbent as the previous version, plus the price increased by $1. They are doing the job at the moment, but prefer the previous version. Only plus is they are easier to store since they come in a box as opposed to the plastic wrapping on the previous version.

I buy these pads for my dogs piddle pad holder. They are the perfect dimension and I have bought their other brand from Sam's club for 3 years. This new Members Mark brand does not compare to their last brand. The material is not quilted and it is much thinner and less absorbent than the previous ones they sold. I also don't like the cardboard box they come in. The plastic package was easier to dispose of. Someone needs to take the new pads back to the drawing board and copy the last brand Sams carried.

I have bought these for years and was happy with them. Since they have been changed, they are horrible. Sam's Club should listen to their customers and bring back the previous product. The blue backed pads were an excellent quality. These new ones fail miserably.
