[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Shaver S7886/84 Wet & Dry Electric Shaver recently and was excited to try a somewhat mid to higher end shaver. It is my first shaver with a cleaning station and speed sensing. When I opened the box, I found the shaver, travel case, a USB charging cable, a container of the cleaning fluid, and the cleaning station. When I looked at the first page of the booklet, it showed a protective cap, and I thought mine was missing it. When I read the booklet further, I realized that the booklet is for multiple models. The exact model I got does not come with a protective cap, as stated in the manual on page 23. I think this is something easy to miss in the booklet, as I think most people don’t read it. The shaver can also connect through Bluetooth to an app on your phone. If you’re interested in that, it can tell you some statistics about your shaving, like if you’re going in a circular motion and how long you shaved. The Bluetooth signal can be turned off for travel, but it can’t be turned off when shaving, for those who don’t use it. One other feature is the automatic adjustment of the shaving heads, depending on how much resistance it feels when shaving. I guess it can reduce shaver burn, and also help cut through thicker hair when needed. I sometimes notice the sound of change when shaving, so it seems to be changing speeds. The maximum speed of the shaving heads is apparently higher than other models, which is nice. The body of the shaver has some rubber to help you grip it. It prevents it from slipping in your hand, when your hands are wet while shaving. This is useful because this shaver can be used with a wet shave. The shaving heads are surrounded by extra blue plastic with Nano SkinGlide Coating, extending the size further than necessary. It makes shaving close to edges, like the upper lip, a tiny bit more difficult. I think the size of the extra plastic or the ridges make it harder to move in the recommended circular motions, and I’m not sure of its benefits. The popup trimmer is a nice, convenient addition to the shaver. I can use it to trim my sideburns between haircuts. It’s also nice that the shaver head flips up with a press of the button. It makes it easy to clean out after every use. Overall, it’s a pretty good shaver that others should consider.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would buy this razor over and over again. I have a pretty thick beard and it eats it all up without an issue. I shave about once a week and have a full beard each time I shave. I always get comments as to how I always look baby faced when it comes to Friday night :). I have always used Norelco products and this ensures that I will continue to use their stuff.

While in England, I left my charger behind, so I called the Company and not only they shipped it quick, they did not even charge me for it, sometimes. It is not just the product, but it is about the Company and the care, Thank you Phillips/Norelco, you have me for life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned the 3000 series for years and it does a pretty decent job. It struggles with that spot right under my nose, and it doesn’t get razor close but otherwise I was happy. But then I tried this and there is NO going back. I shaved and it felt like I had used a razor. Not only that, it glided smoother than my older model. The pivoting heads perform excellent and contour easily. The cleaning function was great too. That is a new one for me and I LOVE it. Shaver smells great and is clean after each clean. There is an app that pairs with the razor to give you some tips and stuff which is cool but probably not something I will use but you may. Overall this shaver was excellent and I would recommend to anyone in the market. This mode specifically was outstanding!!!

Received this as a gift and I am glad I didn't spend my money to buy it. Leaves almost as much as it trims and have to go back to my old school razor to clean up hair it misses even when I am making the circular motion and constantly going over areas. I would be hard pressed to buy the replacement blades or buy this shaver again.

Close shave, Charge lasts long. Easy to keep clean. Shaving wet the razor has a sour oder and I wonder if anyone can recommend a way to get rid of it. Ideally it would only be rinsed completely after each shave, but perhaps some cleansing solution is needed to eliminate the oder. I would appreciate hearing from SUPPORT on a recommendation for handling the oder.

I have an issue with skin irritation and this razor does not irritate my skin at all. I get a great shave really quickly. The razor is very easy to clean and one charge seems to last a while.

This Norelco is great because it comes with a lot of features like the trimmer for my mustache and my sideburns. I would say it’s an all in one shaver without having to use two or three different items. Even after use I put it in the clean pod to use it the next day. Good product from a great company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Norelco Shaver 7600 is the cream of the crop as far as electric razors go! You can use this wet or dry. You can even use it in the shower! The 3 razor head contours to your face giving you the smoothest finish. It comes with a carrying case which was a nice addition! There is a pamphlet on an app download that helps you personalize and perfect your shave. It tells you if you shave too long (leading to increased irritation), the motion of your hand while shaving (you want a circular motion), and tips on how to get the best shave. The charge lasted at least a week or two without any deviation in shave quality. The best feature is the quick clean pod. It takes only 1 minute to clean and lubricate the shaver saving time and increasing life of the shaver head. Overall, this is the best shaver I've used over the past 20 years. I would highly recommend it!

Looks like designers don’t know how to extract more money from the customers, so they included ridiculously unnecessary features like blue tooth communication protocol with iPhones. They would be better off to design more practical improvements to the shaver for shaving better.
