I bought this for nerve pain. I cannot tell I'm applying anything to my skin, except for the fact that it is wet. Aside from a small amount of stickiness upon initial application this is no different than using water. There is no smell. There is no sensation. There is no icy. There is no hot. There is no change in skin surface feeling, numbing, or pain, relief, in the slightest bit. I thought it might be a fluke and tried the other two bottles that came in the package. I am confident that this is utter garbage and feel taken.

I bought this item in a three-pack because I have severe sciatica. I went home, rolled the stuff on, and kept wondering where the heat was. Where is relief? I could not find any. Went online and found out that this lidocaine does not produce heat or cold. It is just supposed to be for pain relief. In my case, with my severe sciatica, it did nothing

The childproof cap is horrible. I have arthritis in my hands so I can't use the product unless I ask for help. I'm reviewing the cap only. I'm giving the 3 pack of Icy Hot away and I'll stick with Biofreeze .

The product is easy to apply and helps take the edge off of pain!
