A friend of mine who bakes a lot more than I do recommended this and said I can use it just like vanilla extract but that it has bits of the bean ground up in it. I used it in several holiday recipes and am very excited to report that it really made a positive difference over extract since there are bits of the bean itself in it. I’d say best vanilla I’ve ever used!

What more can I really say in support of this product? Anyone that does any amount of baking, or uses Flavor Extracts in other ways knows that the pure extract versus imitation, the pure extract wins hands down. That also know that pure vanilla extract is quite expensive. So when you find a bottle of this size, especially when it is one considered to be among the top brands it is an opportunity too good to pass up. A 2oz bottle of the standard quality brands will cost you an average of $10.00, while a 4oz bottle will put you out 4oz bottle $20.00. Common sense should tell you the rest…

I really enjoy this. I thought it would be more of an actual paste, but it’s syrup like. I enjoy adding it to my daily Coca Cola as well as my baked goods!

I found a perfect replacement for the expensive vanilla plus I used to get from King Arthur’s Flour. This taste explodes in anything I bake. I just hope SAMS always carry’s this vanilla bean. Please never run out!

As a baker this vanilla bean is not only delicious but has great consistently and mixes well. For the price and size it's a no-brainer. I purchase this vanilla bean every time.

I finally made the switch from liquid extract to this vanilla bean paste, and I'm never going back. The flavor is incredibly deep and rich, and I love seeing those beautiful little vanilla bean specks in my frosting and custards. The squeeze bottle design is also a huge plus-it's much less messy than jars I've used in the past. At $12.98 for 8 oz, the value is unbeatable compared to specialty grocery stores!

The first time I used it was in a batch of cookies, and you could literally smell the difference while they were baking. Texture-wise, it's thicker than extract, which I actually prefer. It blends easily into batters and even whipped cream. A little goes a long way, so even though it feels like a premium ingredient, it lasts longer than I expected.

I honestly think this is a good option for flavoring sweets. It has a strong scent and taste. I would suggest just checking the bottle before purchasing it because the one I received already had the seal broken when I opened it. I don't think it was used but just as a safety precaution. Aside from that the actual bottle when opened smelled strong - bold flavors! So just be aware if you have a sensitive nose. But it's a decent size bottle for the amount you pay so pretty good ! I'd say overall get it!

Smells great however it does not provide that taste I was expecting - I understand reasonable pricing but you get what you pay for - if you are utilizing for everyday baking added flavor okay but if you are trying to elevate buttercreams, ice cream, cake flavors I would not recommend this vanilla bean paste - I would recommend Rodelle or Vanilla Bean Kings - a little more pricey but I promise worth the money - I hope Sams will carry these brands in the near future

Don't recommend! Minor vanilla essence, too sweet, agave being the first ingredient. Don't understand the good reviews, but then we all have our own opinion. I am a home baker. Bought 2 bottles, gave one to a family member who bakes so I am really wasting $25. Real vanilla is expensive, which this product does not contain. Regardless of the price.Will not buy again and will stick to just plain vanilla liquid essence. Very disappointed because of all the great reviews, but I trust my taste.
