While this mattress is undoubtedly soft at the onset after laying on it a while my shoulders hurt like it is hard underneath. It does sleep a lot hotter than a conventional mattress hence the cooling layers etc.. in retrospect I should have gotten the upgraded version.

My husband and i have loved our mattress so far. No painful transition between mattresses like we have had in the past. We sleep well on it! He is up before me and now i sleep through him getting up. It does sleep warmer but not uncomfortably so for us

We can't stand it any longer, we can't take the pain we wake up with very morning after sleeping on our Nectar mattresses. We are now in search of mattress toppers because we can't afford to buy new mattresses only two years after spending as much as we did on our Nectar mattreses. The search for a good night's sleep with toppers is on (toppers plural because we have a split king); we haven't had one in a couple of years! One of us is a back sleeper, the other side so it's hard to answer the review questions, the same for the other questions we are "different".

I didn’t even have one night that I could not get comfortable on my new mattress. They say it takes about 3 weeks to adjust to a new mattress and it didn’t take even 3 hours for it to feel like I had it for years. It has support where you need it and just the right amount of firmness. I was not too sure about a memory foam mattress when purchasing. I have had back surgery and have 3 disks fused. I have slept on other memory foam mattress with horrible and painful results. First they were hot and made it hard to move or adjust. Before buying nectar I read lots of reviews and did research, everything seemed good so I decided to try it especially with the guarantee. Well long story short I have had the nectar for a couple of months and I am impressed, it is comfortable and supportive. Not only have I not had back pain from it my back has actually felt better each morning! It doesn't sleep hot nor is it hard to adjust position at night. I have been so impressed I have been recommending nectar to all my friends. One friend has bought one too and could not be happier. Truly a great mattress and a great price. You can't go wrong with nectar. They made a believer out of me.

I have had my Nectar mattress for around a month now & haven’t had any issues at all. Firstly, it shipped extremely fast & was very simple to unpackage. My mattress fully expanded within 24 hours & it has been very comfortable since. It is on the stiffer side but I haven’t had any issues with any back pain or soreness at all. It is still very comfortable & it keeps me cool as I’m normally a hot sleeper. Overall, I wouldn’t change my decision about buying this mattress.

Mattress is a good value for the price. I had one in full size for about 4 years and it’s still in great shape. We recently upgraded to a queen size and bought another one. We moved the full size to our guest room. So far, our visitors have all enjoyed it too. Can’t beat the warranty.

The 3/5 stars is on account of terrible pillows. I did not like the mattress either and returned it but that may have been personal preference (I wanted something firmer). Back to the pillows. The Sleep Bundle includes two Resident *Cooling* Pillows. They are NOT the Resident *Memory Foam* Pillows that are advertised on this site. The included Resident Cooling pillows are extremely overstuffed and the filling cannot be removed to customize the thickness of the pillow. No amount of tumble drying or beating up the Resident Cooling Pillows will make them thinner. They gave me the worst neck pain I have ever had. They also cannot be returned as they are promotional items. Get your pillows elsewhere.

I bought this on a whim simply because I knew I eventually needed a new mattress and Nectar was having a sale. I could not be happier. I live alone but getting it upstairs by myself was not a problem, it came in a decent sized box with handles. Packaging was great. Literally unwrap and let it fluff up itself. It's the perrrrfect combination of soft and firm. I can't explain it. Do it. Buy it.

I have not slept on this mattress. Originally purchased for my 95 year old father, but unfortunately he passed before it was delivered. The Nectar team was wonderful in cancelling the order and getting my refund back. The next time I need a mattress, I will certainly try Nectar!
