The flies were instantly attracted to it and they stuck to the pad without any chance of escaping. The blue light is light enough to use as a nightlight but dim enough to not leave a room too bright.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Stem Flying Insect Light Fly Trap and found it to be very effective. It attracts and traps flies and other flying insects quickly, helping to reduce pests in no time. The trap is quiet and easy to clean, making it a convenient and efficient solution for keeping flying insects at bay.

The light is essentially silent when plugged in, and is quite bright. you really have to have an outlet higher up on the wall in order for it to be effective, but once it's in the right place, the light itself does seem to attract the assorted flying bugs in the room. I appreciate that it doesn't use poisons as I have pets in the house.

The size is compact, and the design is very user-friendly and smart. I have tried to use it in both bathroom and kitchen, where I got good results. I will watch more time to see if I should really replace the refill around 14 days as suggested on the package.

I plugged the product in and within minutes I saw insects from the house migrate towards it. I did not realize how many insects I had in the house until I used this product. I would recommend this product as it works!

This product is a very useful item for me since I always have insects stuck in the house. Conveniently today I have been trying to catch a fly that has been flying around my house. After being unsuccessful with the fly swatter, I plugged this in for only a bit and the fly is already taken care of. My only complaint with this product thus far is that it doesn't come with any refills, but that is not the end of the world!

Fruit flies invaded my kitchen a few months ago during warmer weather and a population of about 30 of the little blighters stubbornly remain. I prefer not to unleash insect spray around food preparation areas, so this flying insect trap seems a better option. It was quite easy to set up; the double-sided sticky pad slides into a slot behind the blue light. I chose to plug it in near the epicenter of fruit fly activity, not surprisingly the fruit bowl. That may be playing dirty but those flies had their chance! I appreciate the design of this; the sticky panel is safely behind the light so my cats will not brush against it and get stuck. It's also more aesthetic to have the caught insects concealed from view. This trap is also supposed to work for mosquitos, gnats and moths, so those species can consider themselves forewarned if they venture inside. (Well, I'd catch and release moths outside.) This trap is silent and emits no odor and the blue light is only a little brighter than an alarm clock radio, so it probably wouldn't be bothersome in a bedroom at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design to put the refill is easy and the light can use as night light which is a nice feature. In term of catching bug, this is not at all useful since I have it on for two days and haven't caught anything.
